Everyone knows Mr. Humana in Arizona so chisag does quite well on the Phoenix single's circuit.

Okay, so the Coliseum gets a lot of heat for being old and dilapidated. And for the most part, rightly so. But I will say the location, access to BART (our public transportation) and the parking is wonderful. Freeway is right there and in and out is a breeze. A lot of newer stadiums are in a downtown area with little to no parking. Getting out of the city after a game is a nightmare. And the actual playing surface is 2nd to none. Typically in better shape than Oracle Park’s (Giants). Inexpensive and easy to attend. Great place to see a game IMO. Going to a Giants game feels more like a chore to me in comparison 🤷🏼‍♂️

You'll get no arguments from me.  I always liked watching games at the Coliseum as well as Candlestick.  I haven't set foot in PacBell/AT&T/SBC/Oracle yet, mainly because I'm not a big fan of driving anywhere in/around SF.  Heck, the company I work for has a concert there every year (dating back to 2010, I think) and I still won't go.  Haha.

Even though it was sunny and nice out today I did not play. I worked two long shifts over the weekend and my legs were shot. If I golf with tired legs after 4 or 5 holes I can't fire my hips and my timing is off for the rest of the round. I didn't even practice. Washed the car instead. Tomorrow I will be getting out there.

 

In the late morning I will hit the range for and hour. I'll smack a bucket, do some chip and pitch practice, and roll some. I'll have some lunch and then head to BFCC for an afternoon tee time. 

 

So DMM played with Larry the Cable Guy today was it? Tomorrow I am also playing with someone famous from the world of entertainment. One of my best golf buds Charlie Daniels is coming up with a friend from South Carolina. They are super jazzed to be playing BFCC on a warm spring day. I hope my legs will be ready to go as I am not taking a L on my home track to a pair of out of state'rs.  😁

 

In the dead of winter I drive down to the upstate of South Carolina to golf. It is 6-7 degrees warmer down there in the flatlands.

That is awesome (if not the ersatz Charlie Daniels)  Quick little story, when I was in Eden NC my very first year in radio it snowed one day and after playing Uneasy Rider I said "The Dew Drop Inn will be closed today on account of the snow." About 10 minutes later the GM came in and asked if I said the Dew Drop Inn was closed on the air and when I said yes he was pi$$ed because the Owner of the said Inn had called and complained that a couple customers wanted to know why they were closed LOL! What are the chances? And a good lesson for a young rookie DJ. I had to issue a correction because the GM didn't want me saying it was a dumb Word not allowed joke. Great song!
