GolfWorks.ca new website sucks

Anyone know what is going on with the updated golfworks.ca website ? Hardly an products on there compared to what was on there before the update.

US site has some "Coming soon" pages, and none of the new irons are up (except for a group shot on the main page.)  Pretty clearly still a work in progress.

Well, it does say right up front "please be patient".

 

You can click on their entire catalog and see whatever you want to see.  No idea on listings, but seem like a lot and . . .  you could certainly call them and tell them their site "sucks", I'll bet they'll be nicer than you deserve.

I was not able to buy anything in person earlier this week nothing was in the system, later in the week most was fixed

 

It's gonna take a bit to get the website up to date but all product is the same and still there just MAJOR issues right now

I asked the same question elsewhere and I got told that it was fine.  I'm not a fan of the new layout for one, but two, nearly everything was telling me it was out of stock.  I just ended up buying my stuff elsewhere.

They have their strengths.....the fact that we have a viable option for components is a plus, a huge plus.  These kinds of details like a good website for the consumer is not a strength.

When the us site went live they had pure dtx grips on there for 0.00 and free shipping. Ordered 15 of them to see what would happen and they showed up lol.

I emailed them a few days ago and they said that the new site would be corrected by the end of the week.

Thanks for this, I was wondering the same thing. I need grip supplies and don't have many options in Canada.

I received another update and apparently cs has no idea when the new site will have all the items available.

Ordered over the phone today. Anything that is in stock on the USA site should be available to order on the Canadian site over the phone as it is all the same distributor. Just an fyi it was about a half hour process though.

In Canada after Golfworks the pickings are pretty slim. My alternative to GW happens to be https://www.mtmsportscanada.com/

Just purchased a set of grips, grip removal tool and a roll of grip tape from them.

Called yesterday to check the availability of some common grips that are on the U.S. site (in stock) and they had nothing. They still don't know when the site will be fully up and running and also they had no idea when some grips would be in stock. Unfortunately my go-to site is now turning into a joke.

Their site isn't worth it if your going to order one grip. The shipping is way too much.

I've been dealing with Michael for years and he's a great guy! Seems like a mostly  a one man operation AFAIK; so he doesn't have a big company shipping deal in place. Your much better to call him and order, or order via direct email. He's worked with me to find the cheapest shipping too (I'm in a rural area). Repeat customers tend to get better deals too.

About a month ago I did. Slim pickings but they had what I needed in stock.

Just so everyone is aware, with both golfworks canada and golfworks (USA) we recently have changed systems on our side and went with new website hosts. A lot is still a work in progress.

They're still having significant stock issues. 

 

I tested out MTM but they want $42 to ship $6 worth of shims
