How dumb is it to play Bridgestone extra soft golf ball for low hcp

Based on swing speed and handicap this would not apper to be the ball for me. But it felt nice and soft and whe. Far and straighter. So is it crazy to play?

I assume the ball is meant for ladies and senior.

I don’t want to be the guy showing up playing essentially a flying lady.

Honestly, all the ball manufacturers have wasteful, garbage packaging that look like they were designed by an intern working on their comms degree.

thats the beauty of all the golf ball models...play what works for you..I am a golf ball addict, love trying new golf balls...but I do play the yellow AVX regularly

The story was he was struggling and called up Tom Watson who invited him to spend a couple days at his home. Couples was thinking they were going to play a lot of golf and Tom was going to help him with his swing but they mostly fished the entire time. Came back one afternoon and Freddie saw the women's driver that belonged to Tom's wife in the garage. Swung it a few times and really liked it. He asked where he could get one and Tom told him to just take that one because his wife hardly plays.

I primarily play super soft compression balls. I play an assortment of traditional lofted older forged irons, with light and soft flex shafts, so I get loads of launch and spin. And my home course has fairly soft and receptive greens. So if I play a ProV1 I land pin high and spin it back 20 feet off the front of the green. So I actually like the low-spin characteristics of the soft compression balls. And they feel awesome off Japanese forged faces.

I'm also not a long hitter with driver (230-240yds) and I find the lower-spin of the soft balls actually gets me a bit more distance. I compensate with a bit higher loft on the driver setup.

Duo Soft is a favorite, was a bit hard to get for a while.

Maxfli Softfli is nice with the color options.

Callaway Supersoft are probably the most "premium" of the soft balls, and is what I request for bday and xmas gifts. It lets people think they are buying me a premium ball because it says Callaway.

Noodle Long and Soft do the trick, and you can sometimes find them on discount for $25 for two boxes of 15 balls each.

Pinnacle Soft has been a surprisingly good option (and cheap off ebay)

I know it to be a 3 wood. Freddy frequented my last club. We get our info from different sources. I could be wrong.

Since they're quoting directly from Couple's own speech I'd go with that. Unless you're saying Couples is lying in his HOF speech. Starts the story about 3:30 in.
