White Hoofer

Anyone had a white hoofer for 2+ years? Just curious how it’s held up with the dirt, does it get filthy?

I've never had an all-white one, but I had a 2019-ish Hoofer that was about 70% white (including the big side clothing pocket), rest was red and blue. I put about 250 rounds on it, probably half on a push cart and half riding. The white portion did get filthy after the first few dozen rounds or so and was impossible to clean. No cleaner I tried and no amount of elbow grease would bring the bright white back. The only reason I "retired" the bag and got a new one is that it just looked like crap, the white part was basically brown now. Maybe I should have applied some kind of protectant spray when it was new, but it was too late by the time I thought of it.

 

I remember having a half white, half blue Hoofer back in the mid 2000s that similarly looked like crap after a season. That bag died an early death anyway when the non-replaceable strap broke off inside the frame of the bag. I apparently forgot about that when I bought the 2019 bag. I don't think I'd go with white again.

I have an all white one, have had it for a few years. Definitely gets dirty. Mine would probably be nicer looking if i cleaned it more often but I don’t mind it looking used. I’ll post a picture of mine when I get home for reference.

Black hoofers fade though, maybe it’s not as bad, but they turn brown-ish

Yes,  I’m ok with that.  Better than other colors, like red to pink.

it’s amazing no one has solved this conundrum yet. I don’t think I’d ever do a color outside of white, black, navy, or grey

A white is absolutely the worst color choice if maintaining cleanliness is important to you.

I had the same white and blue hoofer that the earlier poster mentioned.  I'm a little OCD about keeping things clean, so I sprayed it with two coats of the outdoor fabric protection.  If that helped, I couldn't tell.  It was nasty after just a few rounds.  One thing that did help was washing it every once in a while.  I would empty it completely, spray it with cleaner, and rinse it with a water hose.  It dries quickly in the summer heat.  I love the look of a white bag, but Vessel may be the only option.

I use to be a white Hoofer guy, but the droopy legs always bugged the crap out of me. I've been carrying a Vessel and it's awesome. The balance while carrying is great and no leg droop.

I think he's talking about how the legs on some stand bags won't retract and stay against the bag when your carrying. I thought that wasn't a problem with ping bags though since the tether system that's attached to the bag strap essentially prevents this from happening

All white hoofer looks so good but all white so tough to keep clean.

I coach HS golf, and any white bag that I've seen from schools all look really bag after 1 season of use.  Doesn't really matter the brand.  White bags do look really good brand new, but they seem impossible to keep clean.

Bed of the truck prevents me from getting white or light colored bags. Would be filthy. They do looks sweet though. The white L8 is super cool

Lol that’s awesome.  I’ve had an all white Hoofer Lite for about two months.  To answer the OP:  it’s filthy.
