Teryllium tarnish/polish

I played today and it got pretty rainy. By mid round my I sert was looking pretty tarnished. What is the best way to polish it back up? If there is nothing easy and it is what it is then cool, a little patina never hurt anything.

20 year Navy here, Never dull will shine most anything metal.  Super easy to use and never messy as the can is filled with a cotton wadding that has the cleaner impregnated into it.  Brass bells, copper pipes, brass light switches….if it metal the US Navy uses Neverdull to shine it inspection ready.

I have an original TeI3 and use an oil cloth to keep it in good shape. However, I have let the patina age over time because I think it looks cool with a sweet spot wear pattern in the middle. 

 

That being said... I've heard ketchup or hot sauce (due to the vinegar/acidity I think?) works surprisingly well at cleaning the insert, and it wouldn't be as "harsh" as come chemical compound cleaners.

After looking at it today after it's been sitting all night I am starting to think leaving it is the move. It does look really nice.

I use ketchup on my t22 when I want to remove the patina. Just leave it on five minutes and wipe off with a cloth. May take a couple of applications but works really well for me.

As others have said, ketchup is the way. I just rub it with a cloth and it looks darn well new after.

It's acidic and reacts with the tarnish on metal to remove it. Plus everyone has it and safe too.

Plus, you could just lick it off if you don't have rag handy.
