I started using one in November last year.  An absolute weapon (G425 model).  Replaces the 4 iron which was patchy at best.  High launching and very forgiving.  Highly recommended.  I use the standard Tensei Orange that came as stock.  No need to change.

Because it simply works for him. Why does multiple PGA Tour winner and still current PGA Tour player Camilo Villegas game a 28* M2 six hybrid? Has played it for multiple seasons. Hmm. Guess it simply works for him for his bag and his game. He might be on to something. But what do touring pro's know over people at this place? <shrug>

Among the irons, is it only the 9i that has no lead tape? Seems odd that so many have gobs of tape on them, yet one is lead-free. I'm pretty sure Ping swing weights aren't that wildly off. Did he lose his original 9i and pick that one out of a bargain bin?

You're talking to someone who doesn't dare even try hitting anything over a 5 iron. I no longer carry anything over a 5. Just seems strange a massive hitting two-time major champ would play shovels to me.
