I tried getting one of these installed into my spider tour black (small slant neck) and they said they couldn’t do it with how little seating depth there is on the slant neck.
Has anyone had any of the graphite shaft options installed successfully into this type of slant neck?

You will need to look into the BGT Stability shaft or UST All-in for retro-fitting that small slant neck hosel.

I didn't realize the Soho had a metal tip. Makes sense though. I was wondering how they were making that shaft work over the hosel.

I just installed a Soho on my Spider EX slant neck. The metal goes all the way through the end - not just at the tip. Was surprised when I trimmed it to see sparks haha!

Well since I couldn’t make it work with my spider tour short-slant, I went and did a thing.
I haven’t tried any of the other graphite offerings so I’m of no use for comparisons, sorry.

But how do you like it compared to a stock or standard steel shaft?

Feels nothing like the Stability, I'm not sure what you guys are feeling.   Way more like LA Golf.  I absolutely hate Stability shafts and this KBS is nothing like that.

I hope your feels are the same as mine. Much prefer the feel of my LAGP shaft over the Stability but for $200 less, I'd like to give the KBS a try on my next build.

Love this shaft. Word of warning that it will raise the balance point over steel. My 340g 34.5" putter is now C9. I'd say you need to add about 6-8 grams to return it to what it was with steel.

Love hearing this.. got one coming to put in my Bettinardi which is 355gr vs my 335gr Scotty. Hopefully this will “balance” the “weight feel” out to be closer to my Scotty (stock steel).

Just built this up last night after a good deal on a new shaft

I had the UST ALL IN before

So far so good, feels a little softer/less clicky than the All in and almost feels like it releases a little on longer putts

Playing 3 times this weekend so it'll get a good run

For whats its worth I still think the All In and LAGP feel dead similar, this does not feel like the LAGP (not as boardy) but wayyy better than the Stability which I personally despise

Just wanted to add my experience here. I replaced a KBS CT Tour in an Odyssey 7 CH and went from 35” to 35.5”. As others mentioned, it definitely drops swing weight. I went from E7 to E4 although I added .5” (so it dropped ~6 SW points based on the 3 SW points per .5” rule of thumb). I can’t say it feels a whole lot different at impact, maybe slightly more muted, but putts seem to hold their line and I’ve putted well in the 2 rounds I’ve played with it so that’s the important thing

Interesting reading the feedback here. The most "exotic" putter shaft I've had so far is the CT Tour, haha. I have 350g Mil-Spec being refinished at BOS right now and I've got 8-12 weeks to think about what shaft I want to use. The gloss white really has my attention but not sure it's worth the extra cash vs a pearl white CT Tour. Decisions, decisions. I've already got a custom leather grip on the way, so that's settled...the shaft is all that remains.

The way that I looked at it was I know the CT Tour is a great shaft but in the back of my mind I'd always be wondering about the graphite shaft so had to try it out

Just posted my review from winning one of the shafts to test here:

Short version - I love the shaft. I can’t say how much is me or the shaft but it just flat out works. I will say it seems to have moved the balance point up as I put it in my 355gr bettinardi head and I always didn’t like that it felt “head heavy.” This felt much more even balance (if that makes sense) and more in line with my other Cameron putters. Not sure how it might feel in the 330ish gram head but I may have to try now.
