I had to tip one about 1.5” due to good old FedEx.  Didn’t seem to effect the feel to me

If anyone is curious, ended up tipping mine 1” and, to me, substantially better feel. Less “twisting” feel particularly on off center hits. More stable feel to it. Really happy with this shaft now.

 put a  matte black kbs gps shaft into my black mizuno OMOI type 2 putter  this week and besides being quite a looker it's an amzing combination. i went from 35 inch to 36 inches  and was  just nailing my putts  without any practice  or warm up with it . course was pretty water logged and it below 50  when we started  but  my putter was hot .

How much can the tip be trimmed? I can't seem to find any info on trimming this shaft anywhere.

Caliper suggests you can get 2" with just minimal paint shaving, I wouldn't test it past that.

If i was to try one of these again i would try tipping it. it felt horrible to me when i tried it but im also partial to the super stiff feel of say a stability shaft.

I was the same as you in regards to untipped feel.  Tipped it and completely changed it.  Really enjoying it now.

Had my GPS for a year now ( Georgia Green ) with yellow Kotahi grip, it was fitted to an old Rife Antigua (  one of the few putters that really is face balanced) , still keeps my Bettinardi putters out of the bag, might have a think about tipping it an inch, the problem is that I don't find it horrible, in fact I prefer it to the Stability E1 G 1.0 shaft that I have had in about 4 different heads, so now I am thinking about getting a few more GPS shafts in different colours and selling the two Stability shafts that I no longer use 🙂
