Troon Summer Card

Just curious if anyone has used the summer card in the past. Is it worth it? Thanks.

I have the National card, so essentially I have a AZ Summer card.  I would say it is worth it because of the 2-1s - if used will pay for itself.  Say you play Troon N, Boulders, Quintero, Wick Ranch, and Southern Dunes - you will have exceeded the value by a little bit.  Then everything else is the Troon rate and depending on status additional discounts possible.  This is based on speculation of pricing though.  Say the prices respectively are 70, 60, 70, 60, 40 - then you saved $150, because 2 of you play for a total of #$300.  Then post that, you are paying less each time you play.

 

The disadvantage of course is booking window.  Makes getting the tee time tougher.  So you kind of need to decide.

 

Plus you need to play the Troon courses a bit more to make it worthwhile.

Did you struggle to find tee times last summer?  I have a friend in Scottsdale and she's weighing in on buying a summer card, but worried about lack of tee times.  Her heat limit is 110 degrees.

Morning - the early morning times yes; starting about 930a there are more....but that means you are finishing in 110+

 

As a single no issues with even the early times.

Thanks.  I told her what you said.  I also told her to buy the card and play more golf.  Live is too short not to do the things that you love, and she loves to play.
