Definitive "Correct" Sequence for Maximum Driver CHS?

I've heard so many different ideas about this, so I wanted to get a consensus opinion. When it comes to driver sequencing, everyone seems to agree that hips are followed by chest then arms then club. However, at the ball is where I see opinions differ. Some say you need fast hands at the top and let them go, some (like Bryson) say you need to decelerate the hands before impact to let the club head whip out. Some just say to not worry about your hand speed and to just rotate the hips as hard as you can. Also from an aiming perspective, some say aim at the ball, some say avoid looking at the ball altogether and aim for a point past the ball. Is there a consensus opinion about the most scientifically "correct" way to swing the club for maximum chs? 

 

Sorry if this has been answered before, the search engine had more of a mishmash of information. My CHS is slowly declining due to a couple recent surgeries, and will probably decline a bit more due to an upcoming neck surgery. Just want to build a more efficient swing as my athleticism slowly dies.

There are different ways to generate speed.  I am a handle yanker and pull hard from the top but the first thing that fires in my downswing are my hips.  This creates a ton of lag so I have a very late release as well.  Think Sergio.  When everything works together and is timed correctly, it's a thing of beauty but when I'm off, I tend to hit blocks out to the right or big hooks.

I'm not sure there is a definitive answer, as everyone is built differently and feels things work in different ways. I have gone from average 230 drive to over 250 yards - not massive by golfwrx, but has made a massive improvement in my game. On course swing speed has gone from avg 91mph to 98mph, indoor training it's upto 103 and 105 is in sight. I'm short, mid 50's

 

I had two lessons with the guy who used to coach Martin Borgmeier here in Germany, and for him the principals are loose all tension, have a big backswing with high hands as the arms are going back the body starts to go the other way, and the swing narrows the right elbow comes into the body and boom, was very hard for me at first but now I'm seeing real results.

For me the feels are backswing forever, and stay loose.

I know that when I just swing without a ball on the SSR, my fastest CHS results from firing the hips as hard a possible.

Start the backswing right foot, knee, hips, shoulders, arms, hands. 

Start the down swing foot, knee, hips, shoulders, arms, hands.

Lateral shift, rotational component, then a vertical component is the kinetic sequence that all pros have. Shift, turn, push up with legs.

You won’t find a correct definitive answer to this, at least not on an opinion based forum. Sasho Mackenzie does however have some very quantifiable insights on the manner.

Whatever the consensus is, it is NOT decelerating the hands purposefully.

 Alignments, structure and minimal required tension.  I think of it as total power is determined in the BS and shaped in the DS.  My job is to shape and deliver with minimal leakage.  I don’t turn hips as hard as I can, i turn them as correctly as i can without much effort and the hands drop bewilderingly fast, remain in posture/sidebend and post left leg.
