Recently the simple ten finger grip has been working for me.  We'll see how long it lasts.

Me too, brought back a nice little baby fade. But for some reason, it seems to be causing something in my follow through that is straining a muscle or pinching a nerve in my neck. I haven't figured it out yet, but it feels like I'm compressing or "chicken winging" awkwardly to finish the swing whenever I use the 10 finger.

I use Vardon with pinky on top for most shots, and reverse overlap for punch, stinger specialty shots.  He's right about the club being in the right part of the left-hand fingers, then V points where it points.

 

When I have tried the baseball grip (buddy uses it), trajectory is lower, much like my stinger, except it has a lot more right side power for me.

I've just recently adopted a 10 finger grip.  It feels more natural to me, and it seems that I want to swing easier (or have more free moving wrist hinging), thereby I'm hitting the ball more flush.  Still have a mile of work to do to see my scores drop but I really love the grip.

One of Murphy's laws of golf - find something that works and it screws up your body.  Been there done that.

At the risk of jinxing myself, this grip accompanied by trying to keep my lead arm straight (or at least feel like it is) has almost eliminated my severe pull.  I push a few more shots, but that typically makes for a better miss.

I had been working on the split grip drill a lot, and the 10 finger is obviously the closest that I can get to that feel. I think I was allowing my arms to collapse after contact and it was putting some weird strain on my neck/back, so I started working on keeping width in my follow through and finishing with my hands a little more out in front of my body instead of over my shoulder like I'm carrying a sack of potatoes. 

 

As you said though, no good feel goes unpunished.

Mr N-Man ... tks for posting.  Tried the secret grip today, noticed my right hand didn't get in the way as much in my swing, it was more relaxed, no tight grip pressure on wedge shots either, seen more of a high draw with my iron shots which hit & held the green. No change in my Driver flight but my 3 wood had more of a draw. Broke 80, missed a few Birdie opportunities otherwise will give the new grip approach another try on Friday.
