I just joined WRX so thanks in the advanced for the warm welcomes. I wished I had gotten into golf sooner, but my friends took me onto the course for the first time about 10 years ago to this date, and after finally getting the hang of the "golf swing," I started taking it more seriously the past few years. I'm still not good and still don't know what my ideal set up (haven't gotten fitted yet). I've acquired some clubs from my brother-in-law that he had stopped using. This year I went from using crappy Cobra King F7 irons, driver, hybrid set to what I have below. Some people have told me these irons I have are hard to hit and I need to do myself a favor and try to make it easier on myself and find a setup that works for me. I do agree with what they said, it has gotten harder to get the distance and consistency I want. But, in the meantime I have been practicing a lot on my swing and creating solid contact.

 

My style isn't too flashy, more of a tasteful & classic setup. What I have may be overkill but here's what I got in the bag:

Well username and photo quality check out, definitely post more when you can. 

 

As for the irons I mean I'm sure majority of us got T100 irons for free we wouldn't complain at all.

Heck of a nice set up. T100 are fine irons. I don’t hit my irons long, I just know my gaps such that long distance isn’t something I worry about.

It's honestly become an addiction. Yes, I have bad rounds, but it's all worth it for those few perfect shots, wether you drive it down perfectly straight or chip it on within a few feet. 

 

Hoping to take some nice drone/camera of a few nice courses I plan to visit this year. Is there a forum to share course photography?

For me, I just needed to work on my ball contact. Since that, I've been able to hit a bit better. Shouldn't have to update the set for a while, the T100 are really nice looking irons. What's your T100 setup?

Thank you! It's a work in progress, I plan to update the putter and driver/wood shafts soon.

I've got a Nikon Z6 Mirrorless camera, with a Mavic Air 2 Drone, DJI Ronin-S Gimbal and a couple other goodies.

Photos are amazing and love the setup!! I also use a TSI2 and they are long, forgiving and great looking!!

 I actually swapped the T100 irons for new P790's and hit much better. Used them for the first time yesterday and improved by over 10 strokes!

They are from Golden Soul Golf, a little pricey but super high quality. I don't like the loud colors of the other custom headcovers like Swag or Hatch Golf. Rather go for a classic look.

I went from a Ping Hoofer, and the quality of the Jones bag is much better in my opinion. Plus they look more original

Man, with the photo quality, you might just need to start the forum/thread on your own for any course pictures you have taken/plan on taking. If its not already out there I'm sure it'd take off.

P790s are definitely gonna give you some extra help and forgiveness if you're newer to golf! This post was delightful all around, love the pics!

Thank you! Yeah, the P790’s feel great, been hitting great with them, drastically improved my confidence.

That’s what a few people have said. I think I just might, gives me a reason to bring the camera and drone out, especially during fall golf. Appreciate it!

Yeah, the quality is great and you can stand out from the crowd, I might have to pickup another!

 

The irons feel great, super versatile iron set, all my friends have them as well.
