To add to what @touch said there is 1 more way to earn points.  Each participant will need to pick 1 team from the NFC and AFC as their preseason Super Bowl picks.  You also need to provide a point total.  These need to be posted before first game of the regular season.  
 

Example:

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles- Total points 70.

If the 2 teams you pick make it to the Super Bowl and your total points are within 7 points, you will earn a 50 point bonus added to the overall standings.

I made a mistake. I owe you an apology @nsxguy.

When I read this post of yours (it has been edited since) what stuck out to me was your saying I'll add an asterisk. I incorrectly combined that with Extra Ways of getting more points (Future's). I honestly thought you were speaking personally about you not getting one of the futures in before the season started, and by that being the case their should be an asterisk by your overall record. After rereading all of it tonight I see that I was wrong and dumb. I was also impolite. I posted 

"You know for the rookie in the group you can be a touch how should I say it? Overly particular. " 

and that was off base. I see now that you were just adding an additional fun way of looking at where we all currently in our contest.

I was seriously thinking about changing to the Ravens plus the points this morning when it came to me that Big Fish has been chirping for many weeks this season how Lamar OWNS the NFC. He's like 17-2 in his career or some crap. 

I came real close to changing it, hell I had changed my first two picks this week and hit both so I was thinking I should go for a three pack of changed picks. I thought if over and figured my luck would run out so I left my San Fran pick stay.  I was hot and I chickened out. My third change would have snagged me a perfect Christmas weekend. UGH.
