T350 Experiences

I recently demoed both the T350 and Ping G430 with the intention of purchasing one or the other. I had hit the G430 before and really liked them!

I have been playing EPON (Endo Forged) 706's for maybe 4/5 plus years. I wouldn't have played the EPONs for that long if they weren't so good (feel / distance)

for my game. The sole WAS a bit thick for me. LOL

FYI, I'm 66 and have been playing game enchantment / improvement irons for about 10+ years.

I had demo'ed the G430 before and really liked them. However, it was a easy quick decision, T350's better feel, look and performance. Sud be here in about a week.

Only played two rounds thus far with the 350's, but I don't like the feel when I miss the sweet spot. The result is always better than expected, but they just don't feel solid. My sense is that all irons have a finite amount of mass and when you spread it around a large head, there isn't enough to cover all areas, thus the hit on feel. Odd way of explaining it perhaps.

I currently have T350 5-6, and T200 7-Gw, MMT 95. Really like this combo, especially the T350s. Not the best feeling iron, but it performs. Great trajectory and distance. Might just keep adding more T350s to this combo.

Been gaming these for a couple of months. I had my new purchase narrowed down between the Titleist T350 and Ping G430.

I ended up going with the Titleist T350 becasue of their incredible feel, distance and consistency. Feel was a huge factor, the one big difference between the Ping irons and the Titleist irons. Not a close decision at all. Titleist, hands down. Pings were clunky feeling. And their very wide sole had me concenrned with tight lie shots.

I have both sets as well and alternate between them as a Staff Member of PING I feel obligated 🙂 But you are correct the feel and sound of the T350 is much better.

My view on the T350 irons is that I would only use them in longer irons where I couldn't do as well with T200.

But I have recently gone to TSR1 5, 6 and 7-hybrids. My longest iron is now a T200 7-iron, followed by T200 9-iron and T150 PW.

I was thinking about why I love the T350's more than any other iron set I've owned. Distance and dispersion are notably better than the others, but the feel of these irons is what makes these special. Most shots I feel like I'm compressing the ball rather than hitting it, and typically that's the opposite of what I've grown accustomed to. That feeling of compression was rare, but it was a beautiful thing when it happened. With the T350's I get to experience that feeling much more often.
