Paypal issue...GRRRRRRRRRR

I made a BST transaction yesterday afternoon (all things smooth there) .  However, I accidentally uploaded the incorrect tracking number into paypal last night (my fault, I know).  I have tried to go in and edit it at least 12 times.  I keep getting a "We're experiencing technical difficulties" message I have not seen before.  I tried to call last night but their automated system is worthless and it said no live agents were available.     Has anybody else had this issue and is there any workaround?  I will continue trying today, but I want to get the correct tracking number uploaded ASAP so I have no issues with the transaction. I don't trust paypal to demonstrate any competence in this matter. 

 

Long story short, I created a label on pirateship.com and had to amend it after I purchased the label. I asked pirateship.com for a refund before using the label (refund was issued from pirateship.com).  The old tracking number is now void.  I created a new label  and it generated a new tracking number  I accidentally copied and pasted the wrong tracking number (the void one) in paypal.  I didn't catch it until after..  Also, the shipping info in paypal shows USPS International as the carrier.  I'm not sure why as I only selected USPS.  I am stateside so no international service applies at all. 

 

I have sent the buyer the correct tracking number through a DM on here. I just created the label last night  so the package hasn't been mailed out yet (going out today).   Any suggestions?

If the buyer has the correct tracking number I wouldn't worry about it.  As long as you can prove it was delivered you should be ok.

Have you only tried to edit it in the app? Seem to remember for some things you may need to try on a desktop, or at least in a browser on your phone.

Super helpful. Since you don't have any advice for him on how to get PayPal to function properly so he can update the tracking (what some might call a "PayPal issue"), why don't you recommend what he should change the title to? He didn't even blame PayPal beyond saying it isn't allowing him to update it and said he screwed up.
