"Masters of the Air" on Apple.  Nine part docu-drama by Spielberg about a Bomber group during WW2.  Wife and I both thought it was excellent and our tastes in movies couldn't be more different.

Just finished it. As far as reboots go not too bad, thought that Frasier being in the dad role Martin played was a good way of evolving the character. Nowhere near as good as the original though and I’m definitely disappointed that Niles/Daphne did not make cameos. Also, I’m kinda nostalgic so I liked how the bar is named Mahoney’s which I took as a tribute to John Mahoney.

I heard somewhere that the Niles actor didn’t want to be involved because he felt he couldn’t build on Niles character from before. If that’s true kudos to him. Fasier and Niles’s banter just made the show for me and you add in Martin, Daphne, and Roz and it was just a homerun. Tbh, after thinking about, this show didn’t stand a chance of living up to the original.
 

To me it was a really good show starring Kelsey Grammer but it just wasn’t Fasier for me. I get that he was older and had changed a lot but it just didn’t excite me. On another note, I’m watching the original again and it’s fantastic!

Big fan of "The Dark Side....." series on Vice. Love the wrestling one. On NF there's a 30/30 doc on Ric Flair, it's excellent. I'm a fan of wrestling, love the bad guys, went to a WWE events with my young son. Really fun time.

Ok I’m sure this is all me, but maybe not. I started watching Peaky Blinders. It is interesting but I’m having real difficulty at times hearing the dialogue. Once in awhile it’s the accents but the background music seems to drum out whoever is speaking quite often. It’s driving me nuts. Anyone else had this experience?

I've watched the full series 2 or 3 times now, and never experienced that. Perhaps it is your sound system?

We just started watching The Bear. We've watched 6 episodes over the last 2 days (only 30 minutes each). I'm curious to see where it goes, but honestly it's not that great of a show just yet.

I’ll have my son check it but I don’t think it’s that as this is the only show that I’ve experienced this problem.

You can option CC on NF shows, think I used it for PB.
