Is way better than Reacher. It’s like up there with Breaking Bad and what not. 

Reacher is another one that I thought had some pretty mediocre acting. It had potential to be a good show, just the main guy is pretty bad. I'll have to check out Banshee.

The latest season of Fargo is very good. 

 

Silo on Apple TV+ was interesting. I also like For All Mankind and The Morning Show. 

 

Max has a show called Search Party. It's dark and funny and goes in a million different directions over the course of five seasons.

Just want to say thanks a lot to whoever it was that recommended Banshee! I went to bed at 3:30 am last night! (This morning 😂) after a binge session 😜

One trend I've noticed lately is the one-season television show that pretty obviously was meant to be a movie. Hijack on Apple TV+ is a good example of what I'm talking about. It seems like they stretched a 2-hour thriller into 8 episodes to fit the format. 

 

My hunch is that some of these were COVID-era projects that streamers picked up when movie studios weren't optioning anything for the big screen. That's just a guess but it seems like it could be true.

I've got to stop watching Mel Brooks movies late at night.  My dumbass watched Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein until 3am this morning and got up at 7am. 

 

I know what happens in all of them, but that doesn't deter me from watching for the 100th time. 😆 

 

Tonight I went down the Gene Wilder rabbit hole for like the 50th time.

Saw a promo for the new True Detective w/Jody Foster on MAX. Went to watch it and quickly realized it wasn’t out yet. So started season 3. Glad I did 👍🏼

I like the mini-series.  Nice to know there is going to be an ending.

I watched and enjoyed the first season. I started season 2 and never did get into it. I think I might go back and give it another go. we're looking for a new show to binge. Currently on Season 5 of Fargo.

Exactly what I did. I finished season 2 of True Detective a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed it, but it’s not season 1. Wife and I will watch the Fargo season 5 finale tonight. We have loved it!

Last thing I watched was 1883. Surprised at how good it was. I’m no Tim McGraw or faith hill lover , but both were excellent.  Going to binge 1923 this weekend I guess since it’s going to be too cold to go outside.  I’m a sucker for westerns and turn of the century type settings.
