Favorite Taylormade driver over the last 5 years?

I played the Sim Max for all of 2021 and then tinkered for the last 2 years. I found a great deal on the same setup I used in 2021 and am so happy to be back. Feels like coming home.

OG SIM. I’ve tried every release after the SIM and SIM has won out every time. For whatever reason the it is the only driver that kills the spin for me. However, I did hit the Qi LS vs my SIM last weekend and the numbers were very similar on spin/launch with slightly more ball speed on the Qi. Will need to hit them both again and see.

They were all upgrades of the previous, however, only two rounds with the Qi10 LS but I've already hit some longer drives with it than I have with any of the others.

 

Sim and Stealth 2 Plus were never a good fit for me.  Sim came out, I stuck with my M5 (M5 more forgiving, straighter) and when Stealth 2 Plus came out, stuck with the OG Stealth Plus - Stealth 2 Plus spun quite a bit more and I never gained any consistency with it. 

 

Sim certainly has a following but I feel like it was really great for guys with neutral or negative AoA but I never got along with it at all and my AoA is +4/+5 so makes sense.  I remember Rory and Brooks never got along with Sim either, although Rory had it in play more but then immediately switched to Sim2 when that came out and TM even gave a report on how much Sim2 was a better fit for Rory.  Brooks went back to the M5 pretty quick before the Sim2.  I know they are both pretty positive AoA players so seems to be the common fit where either Sim or Sim2 was better based on that but certainly other variables in play too.

Very Strange!  That's the exact opposite of my findings and the opposite of everyone else I have ever talked to about this.  I wonder what makes you specifically so different.? 

Sim was by far the best of them and I hit up on it about 3 on average.  The Sim does launch high with low spin, but not if you are neutral or down on it.

OG Sim. We'll see how it goes with the Qi10 LS. I've had a few Titleist drivers in between but I keep going back to TM.

SIM2 was damn near perfect for me.  Sometimes I wish I still had it.

Played OG SIM for 2 years after getting fit at the kingdom until i cracked it. Loved that driver and am hoping to re create the magic with the QI10 LS model this year.

What launches higher in the same loft… OG SIM or Stealth2+? Why not add Sim2…. Appreciate your help

I ask because the Stealth2+ is on BST and heading back to prior Carbonwood life😎

The OG Sim 8° head was my absolute favorite from TM ever!  I still regret selling mine. If I could find one without a ton of paint chips I’d buy it in a second. Unfortunately the shallow face seemed to make it suffer from tons of sky balls and sky marks.
