Undersize Grips

can anyone recommend me some undersize grips to put on .600 shafts. ping aqua? i was looking at crosslines but they are .580

Lamkin designs their .580" grips to be normal sized on most shafts that are .600".  I would go ahead and try a Crossline to see if you like the size

Depending on how small you want, you might want to try Iomic Lady/Junior grips with a .560 core. I have them on my X100 wedge shafts. They are pretty small, and a tight fit, but not too hard to get on.

Star Grips Sidewinder undersize. I tried the crossline and the ping aqua. They are no where close to the tack of the Star Grip. 

They still have a 3 grip sample with no shipping charge. Can be installed with air.

I'm currently playing these. And I've played Iomic 1.8's before. Both are similar in size. Iomic is a little stickier. Star is more durable. Both are great.

Glad to find this discussion. Almost a decade ago, I used to put 620 core Tour Velvets to get a slightly undersized grip on 600 core shafts. Does Golf Price still offer the 620 Core Tour Velvet? I can't find them online.  Is it possible to order the Ping Aqua TV from anyone directly? 

 

If the answer is no to the questions above, I'll look into the Iomic's and Star Grips- both look like solid options. Thanks for those suggestions to those that have responded.

I use .620 on my woods. I think Golf Pride has discontinued them, but I was able to find sone from VW Golf online. I bought a dozen to make sure I have enough.

The answer is no. I used that grip for years. Ultimately went with Star sidewinder with air installation. Here is the reply from Golf Pride when I asked about the grip last February.

 

"Due to unprecedented demand in the golf industry, we have had to discontinue a few of our SKU's and the  Tour Velvet grips in standard 62 Round core size  you are inquiring about unfortunately happen to be one of these."

I blow undersize 580 grips on 600 shafts with an air compressor and no tape.

Thanks for the replies. I’ll ask a local fitter about access to the ping grips. Otherwise I think I might have to look into the Star.
