Well cody, i have so many clubs because i like a variety of clubs, and i tend to keep most of the clubs i buy, i like to have many options of clubs to play, i never know what i will feel like hitting.

I probably should have a sale and part with some of the stuff i don't use, but i have a problem getting rid of clubs, and you are sort of correct, i do tend to change clubs quite often, not because i played badly with a set, just like to change.

I picked up my 2nd set of Titleist irons tonight --- Satin 735CMs. Along with the Kwok'd OC Spin Milled wedges.

 

Now, my wife could not fathom why I need two sets of clubs.

 

It was an easy excuse to look at this thread one more time.

 

Needless to say, she was left speechless and I'm off the hook.

OMFG!!!!!I've never...how can anyone....the beauty....I'm delirious. Someone said they got chills. I know your feeling. I'm never trading in another club again. I'm starting my piece of heaven today. I can see it now. Sitting in a room that looks like that and smoking a cigar..... It could get no better. Marvelous array of clubs. I know it's all been said in 2 years but I had to get my 2 cents in and let you know I've been inspired.

Thanks JHR and all the posters!....what a read...just loved it all....if the motion needs a 2nder my hand is up! I just bought my 4th set of clubs I've ever owned (started playing in 1961)....the sad thing is I'm considering KEEPING my Maxfli A10 forged clubs for posterity after reading this post! I've now joined the Titleist Club with a set of 705.CBs...but at least it is a step forward. I am absolutely inspired and happy for you...it is truly wonderful that someone in your position CHOOSES to share....thank you.

Great pictures and great collection of clubs. I love those Scotty blade putters. Great to see the XG #9 blade in there too! I have one of those in the bag right now.

JRH, Your collection is truly amazing. You're like Jay Leno with his cars, except with golf clubs. You can probably host a golf tournament, provide all of the equipment, and nobody would be disappointed. Btw, love you collector's pieces, like Tiger's putter in the jewel case. It must have cost a fortune!

 

How do you fund all your purchases? You must have made a ton of money in your days, and have a very understanding wife or girl friend.

Congratulations. This is the most beautifull collection I have ever seen. Can you just tell me how can you have your initials on your vokeys? Do you ask your retailer or you buy them directly to acushnet? (Sorry for my english this is not my language). And again thank you to have make me dream.

I find it very interesting to see the X-100 back in the D2 driver. I'll bet that thing is a real FAIRWAY FINDER! Do you feel it has cost you any distance?

I am loving the X100 so far, i have only used it one round, but it is arrow straight and i do not truly think there is any difference in length, in fact on a couple holes i did a side by side test vs my VT80D D2 and i was actually longer with the X100 driver, i think this could be a great change for me.

JHR - What length are you playing your D2 x100? 44"? Up until I bought the 905R with a 44.5" Pro95, i played the 983E w/x100 and always felt that the "E" was more accurate but 10-15 yds shorter on carry than the"R". I recenly bought the D2 w/pro95 and have been disappointed with the performance... looks better, but feels worse and is somewhat shorter. I wonder if the shaft set-up is the cause. Any insight you can provide would be appreciated. Thx, J.

Very Nice collection JHR. A lot of cool gear that I would be happy if I just got to see it in person much less own it. Very impressive.
