JHR's Bag- 10/31/2018 Update

Recommended Posts

Thanks as always everyone, i am glad you like my collections of goodies.

My wife thinks i am crazy but she does not really have any issues with all the stuff, of course she does not really know everything i have. Thanks again. John.

Ohhh you crazy all right brother. This guy has a wedge coming to my house this time. Joe Kwok said that it is because he is sending me a set and to save on shipping he through in the club for JHR. Since John lives so close he can come and pick it up.

Right. I think Johnny doesnt want any more packages in the ohhh so obvious shape hitting the officew or the front door. That is my story.

Unfortunately i have not hit any of the new clubs, our weather has not been suitable for golfing and i don't feel good about beating a bunch of range balls at the golf dome, so all i can do is swing them and put pictures on this site and wait for the day that i get to hit them all, it will be soon i hope.

Thanks again for looking and complimenting!

Nice clubs mate,

just wondering where you got the 905R and the Proto Fairway from, as far as i knew they were only available to tour pros?

Edit: What tity bag are you using in those pics?

Albatross_putt, thanks.

My bag is a Japanese Titleist CBS41, it is my favorite stand bag.

Sorry, but i can not reveal my sources, due to possible issues for those individuals. Thanks.

Honestly, an unbelievable collection you have. I am in awe! My wife gives me a bad time about all the clubs that I have and can now show her your collection which, (I hope), will convince her that I need a few more sets of irons, a couple more drivers, wedges & putters!!! Keep up the good work.....you are the King of Clubs!!

Hi fella's. I'm a new member here - joined up a few days ago, but this is my first post since it's taken a while to read through alot of the threads.

The site is great, but even that pales into comparison to JHR's room. Now THAT is impressive John! Awesome collection!

Like a few of you, I have just shown my girlfriend his photos, and I'm hoping she'll think twice before she complains about my 2 spare sets of irons, plus a few spare drivers, fairway woods, wedges and putters I have stored in the spare room.

John another great addition to a allready amazing collection.

Are these going to be your playing sticks this spring?

Terry

Thanks Terry, you know that i can not even get close to what set will be the gamer this season, i was sure it would be the 695 MB's and i was not interested in the 660's, but now that i have them, it will be a tough decision for me to make. And i am getting more clubs before the start of the season, so my First String could change yet again. Thanks again.

John,

Those 660 irons are absolutely gorgeous! I always felt the 690MB's were very easy to hit. I hit the 695MB's and they were easy to hit just as the 690's were. My rep tells me that the 660's are even more forgiving and easier to get airborne. Tough decisions with those two along with the 695CB's and 735's. My basement might look like yours pretty soon! I am very anxious to hear your comparisons, 695's to 660's. I hope you love them all!

Is that the new 905R headcover? I think it looks a lot like the old 983K headcover. I like the old 905 headcover, and I think I will probably stick with that one once I buy the 905R. By the way, any Canadians know when the 905R will be available up here in Canada?

And John, I envy you! You have an awesome 2006 bag! Way to go!

Kevin,

The rep is correct about 660 being easier to get it airbone. 660 has more off set than the 695 and have a slightly lower muscle profile.

Beautiful satin finish and so incredibly soft when I bend those iron. Very clean line and simple design but yet very elegant IMO.

Trust me! John is not finish yet w/ his hunting adventures. LOL! :cheesy:
