Has anyone blended a set CBs with Dynapower at 4/5/6 ? I'm super interested in the CBs but still would like something super easy to hit off the tee in my 4i and maybe 5/6. Curious how to best adjust lofts to match. I know the CB/MB are built to mix/match but I have not heard much of how to do it best between CB and Dynapower.

I’m on the fence about this too. I ordered a set of the CB’s 4-GW but wondering if I should have done the 4 in the Dynapower forged. I generally like a bigger 4 iron off the tee for easy 220 ish distance and I might be pushing it with a cb lol.

The only drawback I see is the difference in profile and sole. The DP is quite bigger and might be harder to flight the ball with the low CG. The DP is pretty cheap though comparably and might be a good idea to just have both to try and switch out.

Seconding that the glare is a non issue. Other than catching a stray beam while actually reaching for a club out of the bag there's not much to worry about. Haven't had a single problem with the OG blades and I've had them since 2020.

I agree with this. I keep a set of old blades in my trunk to practice with at the range if I head over without my gamers. Looking down at a blade 2-4 iron is something to get used to but they’re still golf clubs and you can still hit the hell out of the ball with them. For me, the difference between these very old blades and my JPX 921 forged is much smaller than the difference between going from my 4 iron to a 4 hybrid. Going from long iron to hybrid is a HUGE difference in performance. Forged CB to blade not so much.

Is there a reason why Wilson doesn't offer the Blade version in a Gap wedge?

Not a big seller is my guess. I’d say that most, not all, players in this iron category like like to use a PW such as Vokey or such. Therefore the 52/54 follow as to suit their eyes. Somewhat uniform if you will. Myself, I’d play the set GW in a blade but that’s just me.

Not the dynapower forged, but I have a set of d9f blended with previous cb’s and it’s an outstanding combo. Had to bend d9f 1.5* weak to match gapping. The d9f 6i bent weak looks outstanding and is effortless for distance. Launches in a perfect window as well.

Can’t imagine the d9f is much different from dpf. I have cb 7-p and d9f 5-6i.
