I understand they require a personalization to discourage grey market  resellers stocking up.

Well if that is the case, why charge for the personalization?  You're basically killing the personalization that would help prevent it.

 

I should note this in Canada(the upcharge).  May or may not be the case in the US.

I’m in Canada, I ordered 4 doz, mandatory personalization, no extra charge.

I will say that with the CTX, I saw my spin numbers kick up a bit and a little bit more of a penetrating flighted wedge from what I was expecting based on playing the CT the past couple weeks.

My oldest son and I played this morning.  They had a special on CTX at the counter and the Asst Pro threw a sleeve at him for free.  My son was a Titleist staffer for years, but now in his late 40's has moved to playing New Level irons and wedges with Titleist everything else.  

 

Number 3 is a 560 yard Par 5 from his tees, so he hit his regular Pro V and the CTX all the way to the green.  He was very surprised at the performance.  For the next few holes, he played only the CTX and was -1 at the turn before switching back to the Pro V on 10.  He finished -3 and told me that while he wouldn't change balls at this point in his life, the CTX was much better than he thought it was.

 

Thought I would relay for what some old guy on the internet's observation is worth.

Morton still doesn't have all the options, but they do have more than just the triple track White.  I don't see TruTrack options available.

So you ordered Callaway, not Titleist.  I was talking about Titleist.

... If I have to take advantage of the free personalization (I agree with you it should not be a requirement) I use a period  .  so I cant see it when playing, just when I am holding it in my hand and looking for it.

Golfballs.com. No personalization required and you can choose from any of the balls available.  Not just white with triple track like on the Cally website.

Anyone know what’s up with the buy 3 get 1 at Callaway? I have a program at work to choose a gift card. Checked this morning on the Callaway site and the deal was there, so I chose the Callaway gift card and I went back to buy them just now and it’s only for the Triple Track. Anyone know whats up?

I have only seen it for the triple track.
