Having said this, strange first post that probably doesn’t belong in the “equipment” forum.

Never been a member of a private club either (never even played at one) and I was thinking the same thing. Using somebody else's equipment without permission is an absolute no-no. And this is in ALL circumstances for all items. That staff member should be fired immediately. At the very least, their wages should be garnished to replace the damaged club.

For me personally, I would strongly consider not storing my clubs there any longer. I wouldn't have done it to start with...but I'm an oddball 😁

I understand. Personally, I would be filthy mad!

The clubs have been violated, physically touched, and the mental picture forever in my head of some hoodlum fondling my shafts.

I belong to a private club, my clubs leave with me. There are some older guys who leave everything at the club, but it's not common. I wouldn't like someone using my stuff without my permission.
