Loosing back plate on T350 iron

Hey there,

anyone with similar issues? T350 irons, the head was coming directly fitted delivered to a local fitting company... I need to bring the club and they send it back to titleist, could take 3,4 weeks or more. I bought them in November and I am very worried that this will happen on more irons...

NEVER expected any issue when buying that expensive stuff 😞

Those backplates falling off was reported by some other members here. Others have commented that they melted them when pulling the heads.

If you need the clubs, maybe Titleist will authorize you to glue it yourself to save time, while keeping the warranty valid? I suspect some epoxy along the edge of the badge will hold it in place...

Tot bummer and can’t say I’m all that surprised. I’m sure Titleist will handle it no sweat. Still a hassle for sure.

*on a side note. Seeing you call these the “expensive stuff” makes me realize I have issues. For me the ‘expensive stuff’ starts with stuff like ProtoConcept at $350 per 😐

I think $200 an iron is expensive and the cheap piece of plastic should at the very least be glued securely. Come on what does one club cost Titleist, about $10?

I have this same issue with my 4 iron. When it came off some thought I was shooting a gun. The sound that came was horrific.

My 8 is bleeding glue like junk, and the 9 is coming off too.

I sent it out today-hopefully, I get a new set that's perfect.

I bought all the clubs too. 4i-48 degree.

It's a shame titleist.

Kind of drives me crazy these days with all these OEM's with these multi material irons and woods and what not and how they have to put the pieces together and then at some point, they all have failures. For me, I'm at the point of going back to one piece forgings, and quite honestly just take 1 more club to hit into greens. In the grand scheme of things, does for little in changing my handicap and I get to enjoy my irons rather than worry when they may fail.

Ping use to specifically call out VHB as a "multi material" on the i230 badges when they first came out.

My 7 iron back plate just came loose the other day. I contacted Titleist and they responded quickly and gave me a shipping label and stated repair would take approximately 10 days. Disappointed it happened, but satisfied with how Titleist is handling it.

Have played both versions of t300’s. Purchased the 2021 version when they were released and still playing them. Recent Fitting came down to t350, p790, or srixion zx4. Have been so close to pulling the trigger on the 350, but have seen too many issues with these backplates.

Just handed in to my fitter and they are open up the case with photos, so either they need to send it in or maybe Titleist can send a new head directly, don't know. In any case it will take a couple of weeks, which is really bad of course, but it happened.

Just hoping that this will not happen with the other clubs from time to time as well.
