Just play a ton more golf and ask yourself, which yardage do I wish I could cover easier? Short approach shots? Add a wedge. Long par 5's? Something you can stripe off the deck with confidence.

At times I would get stuck in the 215-245 range. Found that my 4 iron looked brand new, my 5 iron is stronger lofted anyway, and only used my 3 wood off the tee. So, I dropped the 4 iron for a 4 hybrid and dropped my 3 hybrid for a 5 wood. Cut my 3 wood and 5 wood shafts down 0.5 inch and lofted them up a degree to essentially play more like a 4 wood and 6 wood and they are money off the deck. Now I am confident with any yardage I have.

i went in to buy a mini driver but honest the flihi is so much straighter I went with it

I feel ya on that. The Mizuno Fli-Hi are awesome. Being that you're +.6 handicap, I'm sure you're comfortable choking down and hitting a cut with the 7 wood to knock off 10-15 yards and roasting a draw with the 4 iron to pick up 5+ yards....IMHO you probably are pretty good to go with 13. But a 4 iron to match your 5 might not be a bad option.

Went to local golf shop today.

 

Tried some 9 woods by Ping but they are very hook bias. 

 

Tried a 26 degree hybrid by Ping, I hit it well and could work it both ways.

 

Tried a P790 5 iron and hit it on the screws and felt way more comfortable with it. 

 

Honestly, I might rethink my iron setup and go 5-GW with P790 style irons which gives me a longer 5 iron to fill that void, plus another wedge as well because I can go 48 degree gap wedge and a 52, 56 60.

I like the 5 hybrid option. My setup is D, 3w, 7w, 5h, 5-UW (I230's). I also use my hybrid to punch out of trouble under trees and such. alot..

 

The hybrid I had to turn up to 27.5* to better fill the gap between my 7w (230) and 5i (205). Put it right around 215, which where I play is a very useful distance into greens. I can crank on my 5i and get to 210-215, but I usually get a bad left miss when I try to do that, so the hybrid is a better choice for me.

Can only think of a 64 degree wedge. Why do you need another club?

 

Some people have one putter for a straight stroke and another putter for a slight arc.

 

I'm sort of tired of the push for a mini driver so I'm not going to suggest that haha.
