Mike Dobbyn Golf Swing

2007 Remax World LD Champ

I have actually met this guy and he is the biggest human being I have personally ever met at 6' 8" 300 lbs! What do you guys think about his swing?

There is much to learn from watching certain long drivers.

 

I got interested in all this a while back and ended up with the El Diablo driver from Krank Golf...incredible driver....the best I've had in many years...whodah thunkit.

When I first met Mike at Worlds in 06, i shook his hand and it wrapped around mine!! It was crazy, and last month at the DL event, We talked for awhile and I told him I get tired looking up! He has a powerful swing though, good guy

Yes it was on a golf course, Scott Smith still holds the World Record in a Long Drive Comp. on a flat grid at 45 yards wide, 539 yards. Mike can swing, no doubt.

FYI...Scott has the WR on LDA events, in LD Comp...Mike has WR in Golf Tournament.....two different things brotha man..LOL

DL is no go next year. LDA took it off, as well Grand Champions and Womens Div and EDC as well.

How did Dobbyn do in this year's competition? I think I saw that Sadlowski won it with 415 or something but I didn't see anything about Dobbyn.

This year Dobbyn went 354, 386, 359 and was done.

It was at a Butch Harmon Tour event in Las Vegas, hole was straight it shows. I know there is a post on here with the link to the google image of it. He can swing, did all horrible at events except Canadian Championships.
