anyone have problems with their dryjoys

I walked for the first time and blisters

I just recently purchased a pair of footjoy dryjoys and they felt great when i rode in the cart and the one session on the range but now after my first 18 walking i have sore feet and blisters (one of which is full of blood). Has anyone had this problem before? I have used exactly 5 times (18 holes walking, 2 range sessions, 2 9 hole - 1 cart, 1 walking). What should I do?

I have a pair of the saddle Dryjoys and for the first 2 or 3 rounds they killed my feet, but after that they felt fine. I really don't know why, because most shoes now don't need a break in period, but I guess maybe these do.

I purchased a white pair of dry joys from TGW and wore them for one round. My feet were so sore and blistered I missed work the next day because my right foot swelled up on the right side of my foot right where the Aluminium bridge comes in contact with the shoe. $130 for the shoes and they are back in the box. The FJ contours are by far the best shoe I ever walked in and are worth looking at. Glad I'm not the only one who had an issue with them.

Get some Eccos...they don't need to be broken in.

 

I used to wear FJ's and they're horrible just for this reason. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The old DryJoy Pros sucked. Im now a very big fan of the '08 DryJoys. Lite and comfy.

I bought a pair back in Dec on sale and have worn them maybe a dozen times. They are still as uncomfortable as when I first put them on. This might be my last footjoy purchase.

Nike Baby!!! i have 2 pairs of shoes now, and both are the nikes!! Nike may make a funny sounding driver, but when it comes to footwear.....they just plain rock!!

I REALLY like my Dry Joys (new model with Pods). I have the conservative looking ones and a pair of the tech on the way. First time out of the box they were a little stiff, but after a couple of trips to the range they're fine.

 

I will say that my feet aren't too picky. I've yet to have a blister on my feet (knock on wood).

No problems with FJ's in the past, but the Nike shoes I've owned have been far and away the most comfy golf shoes I've ever worn. They're like tennis shoes.

 

More than anything, the shape of the Footjoys probably doesn't work for your foot.

i had a similar problem with my Dryjoys right when i got them, had a couple blisters forming specifically between two toes.

 

I went back to the Golfshop, and they resized me .5 size smaller in a wider width.

 

Maybe the size of the shoe you have is incorrect?

 

Thats just a thought!

 

I've since upgraded to the FJ Reelfits and so far they have been great!

I've got 2 pairs of DryJoys and they're both awesome! Didn't need any breaking in time, just wore them straight out of the box. My guess would be to go get your size checked, if the size is wrong they might hurt.

My DJ's suck a**!Not only do the bottom of my feet start to ache by the 11th hole,but they are also falling apart after less than a year of use.

My FJ's rule. I own two pairs of these Classic Tours in black and brown. Hand stitched in the USA and worth it. They don't cost as much as listed on the website if you know where to buy them. They are by far the best golf shoes I have ever owned...worth every penny. I play a lot of golf and they fit my feet perfectly. You have to know your exact size and width, but after that, you're set. If the shoe fits it won't rub and you won't get any blisters. Sounds to me like you don't have the right size or width.

I love FootJoys but they do the same thing to my feet before they are broken in. Now I buy more than one set at a time and break them in by wearing them around the yard (mowing the lawn, etc).
