Hello Everyone,

Hey Guys,

 

I hope everyone is having a great week :) I wanted to share this new Stamp with you :) This is a new custom made stamp we just got in for our ® Trademark Dog & Ball logo. Dave did a “wag the tail” slight double stamp on this one. Note the ball only oscillated! :):):)

Hmm....Could you possibly be talking about this one of yours :):):)

 

MACHINE 4.0 M1A Fixer with a 303 Stainless Head and a 303 Stainless Rectangular Hand Bent Hosel :) Bumpers have been melted for a Smoother more flowing look :)

Chris, that would be the one- also note that rectangular handbent hosel was softened a bit on edges, edge of topline by toe rounded a bit to soften overall look - finish, site dot, and stamps should be done soon along with a specially requested logo medallion. LOL Can you tell I am really looking forward to this one?

Looks like a Studio build....Dwight and Benny know their way around a shop and are just as detail oriented as the Boss....Nice putter...the 4.0 M1A's are very clean and have a nice solid feeling with that extra mass. Interested in the finished project!!!

Really looking forward to the finished product and use of same, played/practiced yesterday and hit the ball great, just didn't make anything outside of 8ft.!
Greatly appreciate all of the patience in getting this putter exactly as I envision, everyone involved has been first-class and feel as if have gained more friends through this experience- already felt that way about Chris, but Dwight and Dave have been a true pleasure to work and speak with about the putter, my game, and life in general.

This MACHINE features a Billet Copper Head, a Billet Copper Stubby Plumber Neck Hosel and a Billet Copper Boat Back Nibble Back Flange :)

Hey Everyone,

Here are a few photos of the 1st Run of Limited Edition Damascus MACHINE Putters for 2011, this is M2A Converter #1 of 8, after milling, initial hand finishing, and its first Acid Etch to bring out the Damascus pattern.

This head is now ready for customer choices for additional custom milling, such as sightline(s) or sight dot, stamping, grinding etc. It has will then have even more hand finishing to go, another Etch, and final finish choices. But hopefully you can get a better idea of the patterning on this one, and how these parts will look.

More unique custom forged Damascus patterns, back flange, hosel and other components and finishes will follow next week...

Hey Everyone,

Damascus MACHINE Putter #2 of 8 work in progress photo attached! Hope you enjoy!

I'll let Chris post more in the Damascus thread, but couldn't wait to show you this new combination... (since all of the pieces are uniquely forged as their own billets, they take on a whole new look when milled, finished and then assembled together as one putter - similar to fine furniture where multiple pieces and the unique wood grain combine to add in complexity and beauty, especially as you see the grain coming through from different sides).

Personally, I really like the contrast between the crisp milled shapes and the organic grain of the forged metals. I also like areas where certain parts of the grain "connect" from part to part, and others don't. I think it adds to the intrigue of how these were forged, and the choices we made on which pieces to mill from what angles, etc. Quite a bit of work went into all this, and its fun to see it come together. For me at least!

Call me crazy! lol.

I'll also add a post in the other thread as to the added performance benefits of this special material.
