MACHINE Putters Picture Thread

Hey Guys,

 

I hope everyone is having a great Day! I wanted to share with you a Custom MACHINE that Dave just finished for a Customer.

 

This MACHINE Features a Custom 1018 Carbon M2A Converter Finished in Hot Salts Gun Metal Blue, with a 1018 Carbon Tig Weld Center Shaft Hosel and a Orange Anodized Alloy Megalodon XXL Flange.

 

This MACHINE also features a Custom Black Delrin Spacer.

 

The Face Milling on this MACHINE is our Thread Milled Grooves with a 16 Pitch.

 

This MACHINE also Features Super-High MOI Custom Tungsten weights (1.5” long in the middle and 1.0” in the outboard ports adding 50 grams to the heel and toe (375 gram head weight)

 

This MACHINE was built as a Custom 39 Inch counter balanced setup with a 20 Gram Tour Lock Pro Weight in the Butt and a Superstroke 17 Inch Grip.

This MACHINE features a Custom Aluminum Bronze M20 Converter Head with an Aluminum Bronze Beefy Back Flange and an Aluminum Bronze Hand Bent Hosel.

 

The Medallion on this MACHINE is a Black Anodized Alloy Logo Medallion.

Hey Everyone,

In case you haven't seen it, we have a putter entered in Golfwrx.com's 1st ever "Custom Putter Showcase."

I approached it like an "Ultimate Biker Buildoff" I wanted to make something totally custom, one-of-a-kind, off the wall and highlighting some of our latest designs and technologies, features and benefits. So I pulled out the stops and we designed and made a putter that is FULLY Adjustable, with Interchangeable and Adjustable grips, necks, flanges, and weights, and our new Delta Mod Adjusters.

With this putter you can change the loft, lie, balance and toe hang. You can change the length swing weight, total weight, back weight grip size, shape and weight. You can convert it from a standard putter to a Counter Balanced putter. You can adjust weight at both ends. And you can adjust the shape and width of the head.

So if you like to tinker, or change your specs, or just change your grip every so often, this is your Ultimate Custom MACHINE!

With the MACHINE Delta Mods and the Adjustable and Interchangeable Grip and Shaft, you can also adjust from a Standard putter, to a longer Counter Balanced Putter, to a Arm Rest (Arm Lock) style.

Yes, bringing back the HOG and adding to it. The shaft in that Proto1 is actually 20 years old!

Thanks AUDuffer - Not that exact one - it's a one-of-a-kind 1st Proto made for the competition. It will go up when it returns, if it doest get spoken for between now and then. I'll be donating a portion of the proceeds to the Folds of Honor Foundation Patriot Day Tournament and fund raiser.

We will be offering just about everything you see on there as we get the next round of prototypes completed and sent to the USGA for approval. There will be a few modifications as we continue to prototype and test, but they will be very close to what you see in the photos.

Sneak Peek!

This is No 1 of 2 of the first Prototype MEGALINE Flanges, a modified version of our Megalodon line. This one is the XXL size, in 6061 Alloy in Charcoal Grey Anodize and is shown here on a M2A head in carbon steel with Gunmetal Blue finish and a Double Bend Shaft over Stud hosel. 350 grams as shown.*

*You can adjust the weight in four weight ports up to 100 grams in as little as 1 gram increments to dial in your ideal head weight and swing weight and room for added weight, counter balanced head weights, etc.

The MEGALINE flanges fit all our M2A and M4M heads and will be available in right and left handed.

We'll also be making XL sizes and other materials including stainless steel, carbon, bronze, etc.

Actually, I have a very, very nice custom M2A with a long neck twisty that Dave made for me - luv it to death:

However, I am finding with my left eye dominance, I need a more 8802 style putter, I have trouble with aiming with the standard style putting as I found out - especially on long putts where its super costly especially on the slopes. So I need a the 8802 or pure blade (Dave knows what I am talking about). So while Dave does make an 8802 style heads that suits my stroke I just need to plan out the style head and get my $ resources. Unfortunately, a tail like Megaladon does not it either, doesn't seem kosher.

Having said that, I like a unique putter built if I am going to spend all that money - and I LOVE my M2A which I adore and still stroke it but as a Gamer, right now, I don't game it because of my aim issues. I have a slant neck that I could fit on the head which is a bit better but its hard to pull out that LOVELY LONG neck twisty - that is art. By the best - Dave.


ps I do admit I get jealous of these M2A Megagladon tails but ultimately these candies would not agree with my Golf stomach. Alas!
