Mine is only ever uncovered when I am on the putting green. The odd time I'll take the cover with me onto the green, usually I'll turn it around and put the "head" part tucked into the putter spot on my bag. I use one of my SC covers at all times.

I pretty much exclusively use Scotty Cameron putters. The head covers are almost as fun as the putters themselves. I remember I had a caddie and he put my head cover in his pocket and had my putter banging around with my clubs. I told him I only had one request, keep my putter covered.

I'm a putter cover ho so it might be a different one every other day, but the putter's always got one on. Last summer I thinned out the herd and sold a lot of my Scotty covers but still have about 20 of them. Also have some nice Ping covers plus some others. Down to about 30 now.

I use the scotty cameron because of the divot holder...I hate having things in my pocket so it provides protection and relief....kind of like a condom

If I could teach my other clubs to not hit my putter I would.... but they are ornery buggers... always fighting and smacking each other on the face. I think they are just jealous that she gets so much more attention than them.

Always. Headcovers not only protect your clubs but also provide for a little bit of an intimidation factor for your opponent. Nothing screams serious golfer like a pair of iliac headcovers and a Circle T Scotty headcover hanging out of the bag!

I use OEMs on my Scottys and Betti (I also put covers on my irons too). However, when paying at certain public courses, I'll use a ratty old TM cover as a deterrent from my putter being pulled out of the bag when I'm in the restroom or getting a drink inside.

I always keep mine on when it is in the bag. My putter is the same length as my wedges so I don't want them all bouncing off one another.

i use those knitted hybrid covers.
currently, i have this callaway diablo edge hybrid cover on my putter.
they dont cost any money, and makes an excellent ball cleaner with some water on it.

I always use my headcover, I like my nice things to stay nice. The wife has a 5-6 year old Odyssey shes gaming that has never seen a headcover and it shows it in the worst way.
