I never used to bother. I had a Ping G5 B60 which was bullet proof, and the cover kept falling off.

I now have a scotty, and the cover stays on. Only time I dont use the cover is when I am using my trolley and its raining. Trolley bag has separate putter well which keeps the head well clear of other clubs, cover stays dry in the bag.

Always have a cover on it. It comes with one when I buy the putter, so I kind of figured they gave it to me for a reason. I don't use the regular silver Scotty Cameron cover on my Newport 2 but actually use a red and white Odyssey White Steel one because it fits better in my carry bag. Looks like this:

My parents gave me money for my 21st birthday (october 30th) I was at UW-Madison for halloween (freakfest was oct 30) with my two best friends as a miller lite gladiator (made from miller lite boxes).

 

Anyways, I wanted something that I would hold onto forever, so I have a cameron 2.6 being sent out to BOS golf for a triple black finish. My bogey man head cover should be here soon.

Hell yeah, I got a $1k MACHINE putter to protect so I use a Jaguar head cover, it's black and white - perfect match to the car

There was one day where I thought to myself, "hey, why go through all the trouble of having a putter cover if I have to remove it every hole?"

Then it chipped the coating off my 5 wood graphite shaft. On goes the putter cover.

They have sharp edges!

ALWAYS. Never walk or ride or move my bag for that matter without one. If I am not using my putter the headcover is on.

Mine arrived today. Delila and I went back and forth on colors. I wanted yellow for all logos (only red on star). but she must have used here creative judgement and went red on the sides.. Looks good though....

 

My initials "LD" on one side, a Minnesota moose on the other, and on top: the great state of Minnesota with a red star for Rochester, MN (where I live). Hope you guys like it. I do

Just echoing some other's experiences with Delila at girlygolfer.com

Delila was extremely great to work with - from initial contact to design to final product and shipping. As you can see, the end result is fantastic. I created mine to match my custom Slighter putter (purple colour stitching and faux fur interior with magnetic closure) and included some custom things as: my 2 kids names and birthdates, custom logo and slogan. From start to finish, whole process took 3 weeks

Total cost (including all customizations and shipping charges) was $61.35
