Do you take your glove off to putt? [POLL]

I take my glove off in between every shot. I hate when it is warm out and after several holes the glove can start to get sweaty!

I putt and chip with my glove off. Once I get inside about 40-50 yards the glove comes off. 100% a feel thing, I just think I have a lot more touch and more feel around the green when a glove isn't in the way. Can't play without one for the long shots though!

mainly feel for me ... tried to putt with my glove on one round and my distance control was terrible, needless to say i have never tried it again and never will ...

Always take my glove off to putt pitch and chip. I don't want to dampen any feel between my hands and club for those shots.
But I played without a glove until only recently.

I take the glove off for all shots inside of about 50 yards. I just think I get a better feel without the glove for these touchy shots but if I don't wear one my multi-compound grips will tear my hands up.

This is exactly me, I take it off after every shot and put it in my back right pocket. It has become my preshot routine, pulling it out and putting it on as I look at the shot and pick my club. I also find that if I take it off after ever shot I don't get the bad left hand glove tan. My first year of golf I used the glove all the time except putting and so by like October my left hand was pale and my right one was the color of everything else. If I take it off between shots it isn't nearly as bad.

I always take my glove off to chip and putt. It is a "feel" thing for me, as I feel the club and ball better without it on. Anything under 50 yards is no glove.

I do not wear a glove to putt and the REAL reason why I don't is that it seems like there is overwhelming support for not putting with your glove on... increased feel. I don't wear a glove for shorter chips also. I can't say I feel any advantage. I'm new and trying to get every edge I can get so I'm trusting the overall or general golfing public. I hope they know what they're talking about because it's a HUGE hassle taking it off, putting it on, taking it off, putting it on, etc.

I wear a glove when the greens are slow, and take the glove off when the greens are fast. It helps regulate my distance.

I usually wear my glove the whole round, unless I'm putting. Occasionally I will take it off when I am chipping onto the green.

I think I first started taking it off when I noticed my left hand wasn't getting tan. It also helps air out the glove and not make fall apart. I take it off right after I hit and put it on when I'm about 10 yards from my ball so I don't slow down play messing around with it.

Off to putt. Definitely a feel thing.

I also take my glove off after every shot and put it back on when i hit my next shot(except putting). My hands sweet so i have to have it off or it messes up the grip.

I take my glove off around the green, but it's an instinctive thing now. I don't even realize it half the time, I think it has a lot to do with seeing others play when I was younger and adopting their habits.

LOL, I take it off after every full shot - prevents it from getting sweaty and building up moisture. I also take it off once I am chipping/putting - other wise I wear it.
