Do you take your glove off to putt? [POLL]

i use to never take the glove off. but then about 15 or so years ago i ripped a glove and decided i was tired of buying new gloves and having a tan line on my left hand. so i stopped wearing a glove and have had no regrets.

I always take a glove off for putting but I have it on for everything else I always take my glove off in between shots it kind feels that if I do this I stop thinking my golf and my score and just relax and then when I put it back on to hit a shot I go back in GOLF MODE and focus on the next shot

I learned to putt with a glove on, the guys I played with all did that so it's what I do. I've tried it without a glove and it throws me off because I'm not used to it, although I've been thinking about trying to learn without it once I finally get a membership and start playing frequently enough to force a new habit.

I prefer to consistent feel of having the glove on. I tried without the glove and it just felt weird.

i take my glove off after every shot and leave it off when i am putting. but i do put it on to chip, i have a hard time using an interlocking grip without a glove on, it feels weird

Normally keep my glove on to putt just because I forget to take it off. I feel comfortable putting with or without a glove. Probably the main reason I ever started taking my glove off to putt was because I've always seen other players take off there glove to putt. I do not feel that it affects my putting either way.

I never wear a glove to putt. It seems so uncomfortable to me and I feel as if I have no feel while putting.

When I practice putting and chipping that can go for hours I won't use a glove coz it would get to wet, sticky. So when playing a round I take the glove off so it's the same feeling when practicing.

I always do. I just like to feel the grip in my hand and I feel like I have a much smoother stroke without the glove.

lol. I do this too. Especially if I had a very tough shots in that hole and it's a short saving-par shot. I just want to end that hole fast.

I've always left my glove on to putt. I've tried taking it off to putt a few times and it just turned out to be such a pain with no quantifiable gain that I stopped messing with it (I never got through an entire round where I took it off on every hole). I also think that my glove got stretched out much quicker, when taking it off and putting it back on several times a round...

Like others above, I always take mine off to putt and for some chips shots as well. The glove is used so I can maintain control with a light grip on any longer shots.

I wear my glove 100% of the time I'm on the course. I'm way to forgetful. I tried for a while to take it off for putts but noticed myself leaving it off during tee shots. It gets comfortable and you stop noticing it. Sometimes even my glove isn't enough to stop my clubs from twisting when I swing my lower irons. Then again I'm about a 17 handicap soooo...

I leave my glove on the whole round. That's cause I'm new to golf and never even thought of taking it off for shots around the green. Might give putting a try with and without a glove and see if I notice a difference mentally or otherwise next time.

I take my glove off after every swing. Also, no glove for chipping or putting. Reason being, the average temperature here in south Louisiana is 62 billion farenheit so unless you have 4 gloves with you, wearing it the entire round will result in a soaking wet glove by the tee on #4.
