Take the glove off after every shot and leave it off for anything inside 60 yards or so.

I play in humid weather and if I left it on the whole round it would be soaked and useless by the back 9.

Once I put my glove on for the start of a round, it stays on until I'm done playing. I completely forget about it once it's on to the extent that I've been in the middle of lunch after my round before I realize it's still on.

I tried taking it off to putt once and then forgot to put it on for the next 7 holes.

I don't think gloves affect me one way or the other on any shot, but I'm just used to putting one on at the beginning of a round as part of my routine.

I consider my self a big "feel" player. I always wear a glove when I play, however there are some shots that I take the glove off for. Putting is of course one. Greenside bunkers, and any shot around the green. Weather its a short pitch, or a big high flop.

Since so many folks are obsessed with speed of play shouldn't we all leave our gloves on for the entire round? I mean think of the seconds and seconds wasted taking off and putting on your glove multiple times per round!

I'vew always taken it off to put, but it's interesting how many people here chip/pitch without one on either; I'll have to start trying that.
