I'm the same, take it off for anything that isn't a full shot, for the most part.

I took my glove off for as long as I could remember. Would be weird if I went to the course to work on some putting and had to bring a glove.....

I used to keep the glove on out of laziness and on a whim started taking it off for putting.
Puttings gotten better since then, not sure if it's the lack of glove or more experience but no turning back now.

I take my glove off to putt. I leave my glove and my putter head cover on the ground in front of my bag.

I hit every other shot with my glove on. It feels weird to even chip w/o a glove for me.

it's a feel thing for me. Glove feels bulky when I'm gripping the putter. Just have always done it.

One of the many things I learned from my grandfather , if you have good grips you don't need a glove.

It's a sometimes thing for me. I do believe I get better feel of the putter with it off, but sometimes I forget. And then to make it more complex, if I see that I am making a few putts with it on, then I will leave it on intentionally.

anything from 40 and in I take my glove off. Why? It's how I grew up hitting those shots and wearing a glove feels awkward now.

I don't use a glove at all for my short game. Including pitches, chips and putts. It's all feel for me and it's more comfortable without one.

When I first started golfing all of 1 year ago haha I watched the pros take them off so I figured it was something that probably worked so I naturally copied the pros :/ now I like to feel the grip on my putter so I love having it off

I usually take my glove off whenever I'm within about 30 yards of the green. Any shot that requires some touch and putting is gloveless for me. I also learned to take my glove off between all shots years ago while golfing in the sunny Nebraska summers, so as to avoid having two totally different colored hands for months to come.

Yea mine comes off on certain chip shots as well as when I'm putting.

I never putt with a glove, unless it's raining. Then I'm wearing FJ RainGrip.

Isn't the whole point of a glove to 1) Protect your hand from blisters, and 2) Provide a more secure grip?

For pitching/chipping/putting one isn't swinging hard enough to need the glove for either of the above reasons. So I only wear it for driving/FW/Hybrids and irons #4-PW.
