Do you take your glove off to putt? [POLL]

I leave it on throughout the round. I am a good putter and it has never bothered me or hurt my putting leaving the glove on.

Always take the glove off to putt. I'll do some chipping with it off too - The glove is simply worn to eliminate the club slipping in my hand. It's hot in Florida - the more I can do with the glove off the better.

Always take my glove off to put. I actually take it off often between shots, just to keep it from getting sweaty. It is hot and humid where I play, so you have to be careful about the condition of your glove through a round.

I used to always leave it ON...my hands get very sweaty and it was a hassle to take it on and off. Though now I am making a conscious effort to take it off between shots and around the green, as the suntan on my right hand is considerably more than the left haha... I'm comparing the two as I type and it's pretty funny...

I've generally not worn gloves at all except during monsoon season (not really, but during July/August anyway) and when I do wear a glove I take it off for chipping and putting.

Lately I've started wearing one all the time and just leaving the darned thing on. One thing I've noticed is gloves no longer wear out for me. it was all the stretching on/off/on/off that was creating wear and tear. Also I've grown to be accustomed to having it on to putt. I'm a right-handed person who plays golf (and putts) lefty. That glove on my dominant hand somehow keeps me from getting too right-hand-oriented on my putting stroke.

Its preposterous to thing that taking your glove off to putt does anything. I have switched to just not wearing a glove since I am switching to a new grip and its easier to make sure my hands are in the right place.

I take it off, for consistency and feel of putt.

I'll take it off when it's hot just to let my hands breathe a little. When it's not hot, I'll usually leave it on unless I take it off by habit. I haven't been able to tell any difference in performance. IMO it doesn't matter, just whatever you're used to.

I leave mine on. I can't tell a difference with it off so it saves me one less thing to do.

Yes I take my glove off to putt unless it is below 40 and I am wearing my cold weather gloves.

All my feel in my putting stroke comes from my left hand so it has to be un-gloved. My right hand just swings along for the ride!

I always take my glove off to putt, I feel like I have more feel without a glove. Sometimes I don't even use one with a flop shot or something that is delicate around a green.

Put my glove on at the first tee, take it off on the 18th green, sometimes before I putt. So I could vote for either..

No glove so nothing to take off; 2 heavier-weight golf gloves when it's mid-winter New York cold & I'm the only guy stupid enough to be out on the range.
