+2...I just got 4 pairs of them last month...I used to wear banana republic and these cool 18 are so much better...no sweat stains, lightweight, and wrinkle proof..Oh, and their MUCH cheaper..They also look dressier and keep their form better!! No brainer!

 

Another vote for thhe Cool 18s. I just bought a bunch from JCPenney online for $35 per pair. I own some costing 4 times as much but these are the most comfortable and best fitting for golf. Their shorts are great also.

and I think flat front dress pants are fine to wear with a golf shirt, ive got a few pair of the target ones myself. No need to drop tons of money on a "golf" brand if you find something that you like the look of. DO your own thing, ya know?

so somebody answer me. are there golf pants and suit pants or are they interchangeable? ive always wondered about it.

 

Can you post a pic of these pants? Then it would be easier to say. I would think you would not want suit pants that people would think are suit pants, but if you cannot tell, then what would it matter?

 

My husband just got 2 pair of Dockers flat front golf pants made of natural bamboo. The tag says they are breathable, natural, cooling fabric. They are usually $70 but he found them on sale for $29 at Macy's.

I ended up buying some Saturday off the recommendations in this thread. And another plus, they are available in 29" inseam. Yes, I have short legs. :D

Suit pants might be a little too dressy to be wearing with a golf shirt in my opinion. But that also depends on what they are made out of. If they are poplin they would be fine.

As much of a Mountaineers fan as I am, you're risking a guy card violation with the reference to "poplin." Are guys really supposed to know fabrics or material? I have enough problems figuring out if it's black or navy blue! If you're talking shaft composition it's understandable...but fabric???

 

Looking forward to seeing where Pat White gets drafted though and what position he plays...

Haha, yeah that is a good point! I hope this doesn't get back to my buddies, I will surely get roasted. I guess it comes from my mother being a seamstress as her hobby. I have always heard her talking about different fabrics and such. She always kept me well dressed. And no I do not know how to sew, haha! I had to draw the line there.

 

It sounds like Pat has been very impressive during the Combine. I would love to see him play QB somewhere but he certainly has a huge hill to climb, although he has made it to the top everywhere else he has gone. I guess the Texans will have to become my new favorite team if they draft him.

I love the cool 18's but my new favorites are th Under armor long pants, they have got to be the most comfortable pants that I have ever worn... My wife and mother in law bought me two pair for xmas and I want to wear them all the time. lol

Good call with bringing Mom into the equation...you could play goalie with that save. I know the difference between oregano and sage but you won't see that coming into any kind of golf discussion.

 

PW could end up being the Wildcat (QB, WR, RB, etc) leader for whoever drafts him. I've followed him throughout his career...would love to see the Bears draft him...but we're still trying to get an offense based on something other than the fullback dive.

Well maybe because I wear suits to work a lot and have some made of wool and a couple of others that are more casual (made of poplin) will work as a better excuse for ya.

 

You guys definitely need to adopt something up there. Anything other than what is going on that's for sure.
