Great looking putter.

Should be a great putter for him too as he is younger and will grow and his stroke will change over the next few years. Should be extremely easy to customise to his needs since machine putters are so customizable and such.

It is strange how few of us get fitted for our putters.

I couldn't agree more. You hear of people getting fit every day for their Irons,Wedges, Woods, Shafts, even balls, but not many people think about getting fit for the putter. It's literally the most used club in the bag, and where you can shave the most strokes from your score.

This putter is 32" and it is not bent flat. His irons ARE 3* flat and -1.25", but with this putter length it was not necessary to bend it flat.

LOL Buero! five? Good thing Stratton didn't get REALLY into golf until a couple of years ago when he turned 11, although we spent almost as much on baseball then too. People who meet and know Stratton absolutely realize that he is no spoiled brat. He does have good equipment, but he works hard and does all I ask of him. I will continue to do the same for him.

Sorry, just my silly joke. That's all stuff I got for me, but I was just feeling left out as I like to fancy myself a good dad too. :pardon: Right now she's more into art than golf.

DS, always look forward to your threads, beautiful putter and it's great to see your son doing so well. I'm taking notes, my oldest is five and probably enjoys golf as much as I do.

So is there going to be any special paintfill on the Machine? The hosel might look nice w/ a little paint.

On a side note, Beruo I'm actually shopping for a ne set for my five your old, what do you have your kid swinging?

US Kids is what she actually has along with a really cut down putter from Byron Morgan. :hi:

Is it just me, or do Machine putters just seem more "manly" than all the rest. I don't know how else to describe them. Perhaps it's the face milling. Maybe it's the finishes. I don't know, but I love 'em. They are the perfect putter for Tim "the Tool Man" Taylor.

I am sure this is the reason that golfers go through so many putters. They are looking for the one that fits their stroke the best. If they would get fit for a putter it might be the last one they ever buy. But I guess its more fun being a putter Ho, right?

Very nice, always love their work. Man you really 'pimp' your son out good. Very cool clothes, customized putters, special paint fills. I hope you make him scrub the floors or something to keep him grounded :lol:

Saturday, he played golf from dawn until dark, yesterday however..........he worked on projects around the house ALL DAY with me. I think it is safe to say he will NEVER want to be a plumber after he helped me completely remove and install a new toilet down stairs. :shok: Watching him remove the old wax ring seal, was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while.

He has better equipment in his bag than I do, but I have no problem with it at all. He makes good grades, does everything that I ask of him and works harder than anyone I have ever seen at the golf course. I will always supply the tools if he puts in the work.

Congrats on your son's success....Do you envision that Stratton's Machine putter will be easier to make adjustments to (loft,lie, etc) as he grows due to the many interchangeable parts?......Maybe Chris and Dave can chime in on this one as well...

Definitely, the Converter putters like Stratton's can be easily adjusted for weight, and other specs, as Stratton grows, or to adjust to different green conditions as he plays different courses, or to keep the look fresh, so you maintain care and focus in alignment, pre-shot routine, etc.
