It looks like Camillo is the people choice right now, he has the look of a champion with a positive, aggressive attitude.

I have no idea why Bubba Watson is even being discussed in this forum. People are enthralled with his long ball, but the numbers don't match up. He is 30th on the money list and 145th in the world golf ranking. the real race for rookie of the year is between Camilo and J.B. Right now J.B. has the edge with his win, his rank on the money list (9) compared to that of Camilo (14), and his world ranking (74) compared to Camilo (95). However, based on his current showing of consistent play, I believe in the end Camilo will take the title and hopefully even win an event.

He made the biggest impression on people at the SONY, finishing fourth in his first big tourney with not much previouse experiance. The 400 yard drives are just a perk. He is fun to watch, already has a large fan base and he seems to realy be taking it in. I think once he feels comfortable playing with the big boys he will be a force to recon with. My money is still with Camillo though.

Straight up, Camillo's got it in the bag as long as his performance is steady. Even though J.B Holmes has a win already, there is no telling if his hot streak is going to last.

 

Now the real question is... Who will get through the sophomore slump on top?

Camillo will win if he continues to be in the hunt week after week on TV. Oddly enough the rookie of the year almost always turns into a popularity contest.

i think in a popularity contest he would win i also think if they had a "rookie tournament" were it was match play and in each indavidual match the two players mutualy desided in a course he would win.....so in my eyes he wins
