Ashworth sponsors Christ DiMarco and got him to sign autographs in the tent on Wednesday. He brought in quite a crowd. Here's a picture of Chris and I. The other one is with some of the staff at Doral. :)

Chris is a great guy. Just to take an hour and sit in the tent signing autographs says a lot about his character.

From what I heard she got the entire check from that win, so that's enough compensation. When asked by a reporter if she was getting the customary 10%, she said she wanted the whole check. OUCH!

Fortunetly my wife despises golf and would not be able to tell the difference between a $50 driver and a $500. Just keep the same headcover for a few weeks and I am golden!!

I'm sure Chris's wife is used to seeing her husband pose for photos with lots of pretty young girls. Thats not the issue. The Issue is she wants lunch and now, and the kids are starving in the hotel room with nanny who is PMS over the Price is Right being pre-empted for news flash that the king of jordan has hemmorhoids.

Nice pics! Seems like Dimarco is pretty cool. I didn't like him a couple years ago but now I root for him.

I think it is becasue he is a very approachable tour player. Hes not stand-offish at all. I've witness him on the way to the first tee stop and sign autographs. How many tour players would do that before tournament round?

 

He also has guts. And he is your average joe, he likes his beer.

 

BTW in this months Golf Magazine there is a great interview with Chris.

Chris must have told his wife to kiss his a** he was taking his picture with the lovely young lady anyway, and no he was not going to be home for dinner that evening as he was playing 36 as he is prone to do.

 

Chris is a great example of playing golf all the time is better than standing on the range beating balls trying to be "perfect". I like that attitude.
