similar to a 757

I love the 757 in my r7 tp 425. I'm switching to the 905R. All shafts are available to me. Any shaft close to the 757 without really being a 757? Suggestions welcomed.

I've been told that NV-75 is quite similar in specs and in playability. :)

The UST V2 75 is said to play similar to the 757 Speeder. The best part is the UST V2 75 is a standard offering in the 905R driver.

Careful. If you're going to get a 757 in the 905R, then first find out how deep the 757 in your r7 is inserted, and then get your clubfitter to insert it (via blind bore) that same amount into the 905R. I put a 757 into my 905r with the full bore thru, and it stiffened the shaft so much it played like an x flex.

Just make sure it is an after market 757 and not the Titleist version of the speeder. Big difference in playability.

I agree with the v2 75. It has lower torque than the speeder(2.2 versus 2.5). Also a lot of tour pros are using the v2 when they can use whatever shaft they want.

I had a 757 in a 975K. Last fall changed to an R7 425 with a Fuji ZCOM TW74 and REALLY like it. Mine is an X flex and its really stiff near the butt, but a bit softer near the tip. Really helps me work it both ways. The TW74 is realtively heavy, which I like. This is a very stiff shaft, that still has some kick at the end for those of us who load the club hard coming down, but have for the most part reached full speed by the time we are at impact (making the softer tip work better). My driver SS is about 118, and this combo rocks....
