Tiger Woods Injured in Car Crash (Threads Merged here)

Professional golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident early this morning, the Florida Highway Patrol just reported.

 

Woods, 33, pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community about 2:25 a.m. when he struck a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor's property, FHP reported.

 

Woods was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee in serious condition, FHP said. No other information about his condition has been released.

 

FHP said the airbags in Woods' Cadillac Escalade did not deploy, which means the vehicle was traveling under 33 mph.

Hopefully he's okay and the papers are overblowing the state of any injuries.

Original story has been updated and he is NOT IN SERIOUS CONDITION and just suffered facial injuries and alcohol did not play a role

charges could be wreckless driving... i mean usually anytime there's an accident like this there has to be some sort of penalty... unless its a mechanical failure...

also it doesnt say who the charges are against there could be a 3rd party still not released, so really its all just speculation...

Seriously though, can you be charged on private property? I was in an accident once on private property (hit by another car) and the police would not site fault.

ESPN News keeps using this description. Airbags did not deploy as he was driving under 33 mph.
