Best par 3 ever played?

Hate to sound like a broken record but...my personal fav is also #7 at Pebble. I was puckered up like a school girl waiting to pull the trigger. Right trap, sand save....yippee.

Found the course ... Narooma, in the top 100 is Aus, 5 hrs South of Sydney

Third hole, called Hogan's Hole

It is 141 uphill and I recall hit 6i into the wind back when I was 19

Cardy - how did you get to play Apes Hill? Is the course complete yet?

I was in the barbados for this first time this past September. I lvoed it down tehre and played a round at Royal Westmoreland which was fantastic. I'm sure I'll be back there sometime soon and I would love a shot to play Apes Hill. I'm eager to hear your story!

I love the 17th at Poipu. (Actually, I love 15-18 at Poipu.) I especially love 17 when they have the pin back right.

Palmetto #7. Without a doubt, the smallest target to play to from 178 yards, ever. Gorgeous golf hole. Great golf course.

 

 

I agree with this. The 7th hole at Palmetto is the best par three I have ever played. Bobby Jones said #7 was the best medal play par 3 he ever played.

The 14th at Oak Quarry. Quite a nice 200 yard par 3 over the quarry.

This was my teams first hole in a scramble 2 years ago, my 3 playing partners all found the quarry and I then nervously put one in the front-left bunker. We did get up & down. Intimidating way to start a round.

I've got 2 and I did not take these pics...

First is #16 at the El Dorado Golf & Beach Club in Cabo San Lucas. Its the only true entirely ocean front hole on the course, 132 yards. I hit an overconfident draw into the worlds largest trap that left me a 30 yards shot from the beach to a green 15 feet above my head....atleast the view was nice!

Second is #8 a the ProngHorn Fazio Course. It plays 154 yards over a lava tube, you do not want to be short on this hole.

As for one's I've actually played, the Oak Quarry one is good, and [b]#15 at Soboba Springs [/b]is awesome, very tough from the tips when the pin is in the back.

Apple Mountain in Camino, CA has a par-3 at #2 that drops a long way too, if that's your thing.

Thumbs up for [b]#3 at Torrey Pines - South[/b] as well.
