Assembled my 2010 bag today and finally pulled the trigger on the order, which should be here in about 3-4 weeks: :smilie_cally:

I've not tried the Diablo Forged yet but I picked them up in the store yesterday and they had a nice weight and were very attractive at setup.

The Jaws wedges do not play to the bounce intended - they have very narrow soles (which require a lot of bounce to prevent them from digging) and an extremely versatile C-grind on the sole. I actually prefer narrow sole, high bounce so these are perfect for me.

Well, one snuck in. Can't get rid of my trusty Rossa Monte Carlo putter. I just love it and the roll it puts on the ball! TaylorMade makes great clubs, and I could play a full bag of their sticks with no issues. I have a backup set of TP Z wedges that I may switch in throughout the season depending on the conditions.

I spent 2 1/2 hours at Golfsmith last night testing clubs and I could not get the Callaway Diablo Forged out of my hands! They weren't even on my radar, but now are my #1 club. It is SO FRICKING SMOOTH you just want to keep hitting it! I have never hit forged irons, but now I am a believer. Pretty forgiving too from what I could tell on the Trackman, just point and shoot. The trajectory of my shots were mid, which is what I like.

Yes. What floored me was when I was able to hit Pro V1's with them. Oh my, I nearly needed a cigarette after hitting them with Pro V1's. They were just so pure.

Can't ever take a Rossa out of the bag - I know too much about the technology and merits of the AGSI insert to ever consider playing anything else...plus I have a sweet Tour Monte Carlo #7 with a STEEL AGSI+ insert that I already love!

They do look great, I'll give you that, but it's just going to be really hard to knock any of my Adams hybrids out of the bag - they are just really good.

I hit the 24* today downwind from 225 yards to a par-5 in two and had an eagle chance...I'm thinking of replacing the Boxer with a standard IDEA Pro head and swapping in some Fubuki hybrid shafts...

I cannot WAIT for my woods and irons, but unfortunately they are still on order!

I'm curious here - (and dealing with a similar situation) 20*/24* Hybrids to a 25* 5-iron then a 28* 6- iron???

Seems like the delta's would be too close?? Any anticipation of ditching the 5-iron all together??

I think it's more important to think about the actual distances you hit the clubs in real world scenarios, rather than concerning yourself with the actual amount of loft on each club and if it looks good on paper.

However, I will be playing my Diablo Forged irons bent 2* WEAK which will give me a 27* 5-iron.

I currently hit my Tour Burner 5-iron which is similarly lofted 195-205 yards (Denver altitude baby!).

Also, my 24* hybrid is over a FULL INCH longer than my 5-iron at 39". I hit it about 220-225 yards. Perfect 4-iron replacement.
