enough yardage gap between the two?

Really falling in love with my 909f2 15.5 , considering adding an 18.5 but concerned about the yardage gap. I prefer a 5 wood over a hybrid. If I feel there is enough gap I would go with the 18.5 F2 and drop the 19* hybrid for a 21*

setup would be

909F2 15.5 & 18.5
909h 21 & 24

looks good to me and i am also interested in responses because i have a 906 15.5 and am also thinking of adding 18.5 degree to go with it.

The nice aspect of your proposed new setup is that you already have confidence in, and love the 909f2 15.5.

From what I've read about that model, on this site and on the course, is it is a fantastic club.

Since you prefer a 5 wood over a hybrid, then your next purchase would naturally be the 18.5.

As far as the 2.5 degree separation between the 5W and the 21H, your distance gaps should be fine since the 5W has the longer shaft than the hybrid.

(Only thing now for you to figure out is with 4 woods, the driver and putter (6 clubs), you're down to probably a 2 wedge setup, which could be a good thing or bad thing, depending on your short game preferences).

But as far as your woods are concerned, great setup. Enjoy your new clubs!

I go 15.5 and 909h 17 deg - I didn't like the 18.5 model compared to the 3W (which is awesome btw).

I don't think you need both.

I play the 909F2 15.5 and 18.5 both with Javln FX V7 shafts. I hit the 3 wood about 250 and the 5 wood about 235. The 909 5 wood is my favorite club in the bag. Definitely recommend.

Works in Sweden where you sometimes need to keep the ball down.

My plan was to cover all bases and with that "top" I feel I actually do.

And for driver where I have a love, 905R, I have tried the 909D3 and ProD and don´t know if I dare try the superdeep (non TM guy but..)

Or.. If I just should go out practice instead:-)

No thoughts on the 909's, but last year I played 906F4's in the 13.5 & 18.8 setup and I was hitting the 18.5 240 and the 13.5 only 250, both off the tee, off the deck I had a similiar yard seperation. Because of this I no longer use these clubs.

the 18.5 is a superb club; I carry 909f2s in 15.5 and 18.5

I wish they had a 17deg.

Stock Voodoo stiff; simply a fantastic club for me (driver ss 100mph)

I'd say 15+ yds separation. Biggest difference is trajectory; 18.5 is easy to hit high

Next club is 909h 21deg Voodoo stiff

Regarding makeup, I carry 15 clubs unless there is a game involved (i.e. money). I note which club I use least on each course and in which conditions; that's the one I leave out next time.

I carry the Titleist 909 F2 stock voodoo stiff 13.5* 3wood, 18.5* 5wood, and the 909h 21*.
I fill the gaps for distance nicely for my game. I am sure you will too with what you are looking
to game. I am pleased that I have these clubs in my bag.
