How bad can it get?

In the search for an audio clip of Ernie's remarks regarding Tiger's Firestone shot, I saw probably the worst club toss by a professional. It was nasty. I can't believe Tig... Ernie acted like that. What are some other awful tantrums you can find?

Tiger at the Barclays (not picking on him, just first result I found). I like how his playing partner basically takes off running from the tee.

Perez at Pebble was a classic. Christie Kerr did quite a job beating her golf bag late last year.
None compare to the stories surrounding Tommy Bolt. (Including chucking his driver into a pond during the 1960 US Open. - Tommy had already won a US open a few years earlier)

None of those save for Tommy Bolt, compare at all with Woody Austin beating himself over the head with his putter, bending the shaft severely in the process. Google that one.

Pat Perez, today, threw his club at least 30 yrds across a fairway helicopter style after playing his drop from a hazard.

Yeah, I saw that as well. I realize the difficulty of golf can get to the guys sometimes, but I would really like to see this kind of action penalized. It comes down to self-control, and if a professional golfer can't show that then its time for a dq. Imagine if you threw a printer across the office just because you hear the boss is giving the office slouch a raise.

That throw from Perez really hit me the wrong way, if you couldn't tell already :russian_roulette:

He actually does it fairly calm looking, as if its completely normal to sling a club across the fairway.

Was it Davis Love III who hit the sprinkler head. He didn't swing at the ground very hard at all but what made it funny was that 1) it was totally out of character and 2) he flooded the greenside bunker. He looked real embarrassed too.
