Haven't researched it enough but I was curious, are the new VR Pro's that he is playing with this year the actual ones or the same thing he did last year, where he had a "prototype" VR that just happened to look exactly like his old irons.

tiger is the only person who knows the terms of his contract. he basically shares nothing with the public, certainly not something as important as his contract. it is all speculation.

steps are the increasing circumference sizes on the shaft as it gets closer to the end. Dynamic Gold Shafts have these steps, other don't, they are just a smooth transition in size

I believe I read somewhere earlier in the season (his first event I think) that he was testing out the new KBS Satin Protos. Who knows, it's not like it'd be too hard for him to walk over to the van and say "hey, I want to try this" and they hand it to him.

He looks huge! Almost to the point he could play safety in the NFL and I really think it is hurting him in his swing. He has way too much for bulk in his upper body and I dont care what anyone says that affects your flexibility. JMO of course but he needs less bulk just keep toned up and flexible. This is the biggest issue I think he has.

I totally agree! i used to be a gym rat several years ago and at my peak weighed 25 pounds more than i do now and i was still althletic. i could in no way imagine myself at that size playing golf , i got really hooked on golf and made it a point to lay off the body building gym routine. now i am more focused on core strength and muscle tone rather than bulk and its the best thing i could have done for my golf.

He actually has the 5 wood at least as a VR Pro. His second into 16 he said was a 5 wood and the camera showed the red and black sole. I think the height to the shots is more of a swing thing than the clubs.

i think one of the issues that people had were that the vr blades he used were clearly different than anyone elses. when now his vr pros could be different but they look just like retails.

agree, kittens suck. More of a puppy person myself. Tiger's clubs are all miura forged it's well known. Bang! 1 Kitten dead.


On that note...Anyone know about the lie angle stories? Is it true he kept the same lie angles even with all those swing changes over time?
