I believe at one time, Luke had his 9I and PW bent weak (I read that his PW was adjusted to 48* loft).

I dont see what the big deal is with a gap between PW and your first wedge?

My PW is 45 and my next wedge is 52 and then 58 (52 for pitches, chips & long bunker shots and 58 for green side bunkers and flop shots)

I just play knocked down shots with the PW if I am in between the two distances, I am comfortable doing this and that's the way I prefer to play, some people would rather have 5 wedges and that's their way of doing it.

Luke is a master short games-man so can play just about any shot he wants with short irons

Perhaps not. It could be that there are specific performance characteristics that Luke finds he can get from the Mizuno hybrid that he cannot get from an RBZ or other hybrid.

I had an RBZ hybrid, and although it was a long-knocker, I hated it! Even though it was the "Tour" model, I hit some outrageous hooks with it. For me, a smaller-headed hybrid (the R9 Tour or a Tour-release version of the Rescue 11 in the case of TM products) works far better .... and I am not going to complain about getting "only" 230 to 235 yards with one of these hybrids vs. 240-245 with the RBZ Tour hybrid!
