Interesting...thanks for the video. Titleist ProV1x from 2005... I remember when Kenny Perry was winning a bunch of tournaments he would only use the 2005 version. I wish I could remember what that ball was like its been so long since I've hit one.

I remember in an interview with golf digest luke said that he liked the way the 2005 version handled in the wind... Whatever that means

How much do the sponsors care about different drivers and things? Luke is a Mizuno guy but has had TM and Titleist drivers. Does TM pay him to play the R11?

Per round or per event?
$3000 sounds like a lot but when you multiply it out it could be as little as $100-150k for the year.

Luke has used S300's for many years. To the best of my knowledge, he's still using them.

His shafts do have the DG Tour Issue sticker on the underside and you may read that he's using S400's but I'd be massively surprised if he has actually changed.

I think it was Charlie Rhymer this morning that said he thought Luke would shoot a crazy good score and win this tournament. In the next breath he said he thought it may take -8. Seriously, Luke is good.

Don't the Tour Issues only come in s400 or x100? In any case...he got it done with Mizuno.

I am pretty sure Luke has S300. And yes, they are pretty rare. Doubt to many out on tour.
